Left WOW for second time to come back to Eve (well actually went Wow->Eve->AutoAssault->Wow->Eve, but I really do not want to get into the AutoAssault bit).

First time with Eve I kicked around the trial. Got really bored, mainly because I was mining pebbles and running courier NPC missions. Gave up after the trial period was up, and went back to WOW. Got fed up with WOW again (mainly due to the community and pure boredom of having 2 LVL 60s), and actually went in for a full month this time.

And what a blast I am having. I am finding, at least at this point, the game very casual friendly. The offline skill training is really tailored for my lifestyle, and it is nothing to play in one hour sessions. Compared to WOW's raid happy endgame, this is very refreshing.

I also discovered this game has so much more to offer than just mining for ISK. I have taken to doing NPC kill missions as well as NPC pirate hunting in .6-.8 space. I have gotten quite a few kickass drops. In addition I have started to do some loot running, ie buy stuff low in one area and sell high in another. What a blast, you can make a ton of money doing this. I kind of feel like Han Solo.... I can't wait to get into some real PVP.

In addition the community is awesome and very helpful. Also very mature, which was important to me. Dev's also seem to really work with the community. This really blew me away compared to WOW, where they pretty much tell you to zip it.

In short, the possibilities in this game are limitless. A 14 day trial does not even scratch the surface of what this game has to offer. If you are getting bored with mining, do something else, the choice is yours. Anyone tired of WOW should give this game a try. Seriously consider playing a couple weeks before giving up. I made a promise to put more into it this time, and am very happy I did. This game can be alot of things to alot of different people.

Next step, finding a good corp.

If you want to join a good pvp corp and arent afraid to take risks (i.e losing some ships) contact famine a'lighari (SP?, hes the vile ceo,) Me and famine could really use a tackler. ill even buy you your first few ships if you want

We do 0.0 pvp mostly with some empire piracy, We generally make quite a bit of coin for ourselves, Itd be prefferable if you were in us time zones, if not youll probably never see us online =(, Eve mail me sometime
