Take a Heavy Electron Blaster for example (item
), its base damage modifier is 2.1x
Now, say its loaded with Antimatter M (item
), it does 14 kinetic and 10 thermal damage, which is then increased by the damage modifier of your weapon.
So, for example, 24 base damage (14+10 from the two damage types) multiplied by 2.1x (the damage multiplier) would give you 50.4 damage on a normal hit. Now, with your skills, it might get up to say 5x or 6x, which would change your damage to say 120 or 144 damage a shot.
