Two figures approach the podium within the Ishukone Transport Boardroom, the first a male. He sports a clean shaven head, well groomed eyebrows with a slight hint of morning stubble, the CEO of the caldari mega corporation Ishukone, Otro Gariushi. He wears an expensive looking black suit, with matching shoes that boast an almost mirror finish.

The second, a striking young blonde girl, who appears to be fresh from the academy, his daughter, Avena Gariushi. Equally smartly dressed in a long black trailing gown, her hair pinned back to expose an unblemished young and inexperienced face, much the contradiction of that of the man at her side.

She speaks at the podium in a calm, yet defiant tone, her face tainted with disspointment.

Today is a sad day for the Ishukone Corporate Family, and this message is a call to all loyalist Caldari Pod-Pilots.

As we are all aware, the inability due to the Yulai Convention, of a pod pilot corporation to declare concord sanctioned war on protected corporations such as Ishukone itself, and other well rooted corporations in New Eden such as the State War Academy, or Caldari Provisions, means that the terroist and scum entities of our cluster have to seek their fun and profit elsewhere.

Despite our neutral stance, Ishukone Transport has been the victim of attack by several pirate entities over the last two months when hauling goods through low security space. So far we have been fortunate only to lose several Crane and Bustard class transport craft to the assailants, as can be expected when operating in hostile, and unpatrolled territory.

Over the last eight months, we have provided an unrivalled shipping and transport sevice to everyone whom has contacted us. This includes over 500 sucessful deliveries of minerals, equiptment, trade goods and weaponry. We discriminate against no one, and haul for whomever can front the ISK to pay for our service.

Today we recieved notification from CONCORD and the Directive Enforcement Division that a sanctioned declaration of war has been passed aganist our corporation, which totals 3 members of the pod pilot community. Myself and my two collegues have never agressed nor attacked a single pilot in New Eden, and posess little or no effective combat skilling to be able to do so.

As of now, for the safety and welfare of the 7600 crew on board my own Charon Class Freighter, and the Identical vessel of one of my collegues, I have no choice but to suspend all operations from Ishukone Transport, and cancel all pending contracts.

All clients have been duely informed, and I have made several arrangements to have friendly corporations to us complete several of the larger contracts, on our behalf.

This statement ends with a formal request to the CCDF, Kimotoro Directive, and any other loyalist defence corporations to contact myself regarding our situation, and potential rewards for assistance.

Thank You.

We would have answered this call. Unfortunately for you, Mr. Gariushi betrayed us many months ago.

I would like to bring to your attention an image recently captured by our intelligence division.

The pirate entity 'VETO.' has recently declared war against my corporation. Your corporation's operation of supplying these outlaws with empire constructed equipment to continue their unlawfull operations has not gone unnoticed by us.
For the duration of our war against 'VETO.' we request your corporation cease to assist these pirates, failure to comply will be met with force.

You will be free to continue to fulfill your other contractual agreements unharassed.

As I said previously, We supply for whoever contacts us, I fail to see your point. I am a businesswoman, my customers are the demand, I supply.

Ishukone Transport will continue to supply our all clients if this hostility continues, despite threats from your corporation.

You will not dictate to us whom we can, and cannot conduct our business with. One way or another, our contracted obligations to ALL our customers will not be disrupted.

After the failure of the Kimotoro Directive to provide military assistance to a Peaceful, Civilian Caldari Corporation cought in a period of unprovoked agression during our normal working practices, I have no choice but to hand over control of Ishukone Transport to Dven Shiskala of Ishukone Watch.

Business will continue as usual, and our full pricing range for haulage is available in coms channel "Ishukone Transport".

The "failure" has more to do with the fact that you chose to supply corporations that are at war without adequate protection for your ships. When you enter a combat zone with the intention of supplying one side, the other will try to stop you. The Directive is chosing not to assist you because frankly, you are not being hunted down, you are being denied access to your drop off point thatís is also in Gallente space. We are willing to defend Caldari corporations that are in distress, not fight for them so they can meet their contract.

It is most unfortunate that you have come to learn that an industrial corporation cannot be viewed as a neutral body. Clearly, public response indicates that your past business dealings have hindered your chances of assistance. I was CEO at the time we were war dec'd in order to manipulate others into action. Believe me I know what you must be going through. Luckily through productive dialogue of all parties involved, a peaceful accord was reached and the region is better for it. Quite honestly, from a purely fiscal perspective, we have never been stronger because of it. More importantly, we are on the right side of something that could be great.

former-CEO to CEO I wish you the best of luck. I hope that your loyalties lie with those that fly with you and not the isk they earn for you. For that reason alone I hope for a quick end to these aggressions.

As Mr. Wassenar has stated, the Directive is not in the business of hired security. Both sides have been contacted and it has been made clear to Directive diplomats that the wardec is simply preemptive and that Ishukone Transport will not be attacked as long as they do not supply the pirate corporation with which they are known to contract. The Directive does not support piracy, and will not go to war simply to protect shipments to pirate corporations.

Doing business with anyone who comes your way may be a great source of ISK, but it is not without its risks. Corporations willing to take those risks can make a great deal of money, but they must be prepared to face the consequences of those actions. Shipping supplies to a corporation at war can be profitable, but it is bound to earn the ire of the opposing side. Sulithus is taking preventive measures to keep their opponents from being supplied. Ishukone Transport's decision to supply the corporation that has declared war on Sulithus regardless of risk is a voluntary choice and will be treated as such.

Should Ishukone Transport's vessels be attacked, unprovoked, while conducting legitimate business in Caldari space, the Board of Directors may take another look at the situation.

Well, well.

A subsidiary of Ishukone going and associating itself with piratical entities, hmm? Big surprise. And getting caught? Very sloppy. But requesting the Kimotoro Directive's aid? Really now..

I'm glad the Directive has taken the correct stance on this issue.
