Oh please...

When the Amarr like Ardishapur get their head out of the dark ages, then progres can be made on many things. Who wants to spend most of their waking day performing arcane rituals before doing anything? I don't want a ritual for eating, sleeping, waking, putting on my shoes etc...

Fortunately, as a free Minmatar, I don't have to.Very Happy

Be silent Minmatar!

It's enough we have to tolerate your existance, much less your inane prattle when something as grave as an Emperor's death has occured.

Should say "pray 24/7" because thats about all you Amarr ever do.

I'd also like to point out that my homeworld has a 35 hour day, and a 10 day week....so perhaps you should come up with another euphanism Razz

It's time you Amarr started taking some personal responsibility for your lives and actions.

"Ohhh the Emperor made me do it"
"Ohh the signs and portents were bad for that day"
"Ohh the ritual must be performed exactly thus or woe is us"

Look to your future and learn from your past, not be ruled by it.

Now is your chance to address the many wrongs of your society, and to build a brighter future, for all the galaxy.

Allow another zealot into power and they will cause you to cry a river of tears as war sweeps you away.

If Aridshapur takes the throne, the Amarrian Empire will lose everything the late Heideran VII spent his life working for.

Minmatar and Gallente, silence would serve you best in these times, or voe you shall make personal enemies from the careless use of your forked tongues.

Our Emperor has passed away, this is a sad time of grief and sorrow for us. To denounce our traditions, the worth of our heirs, meddling in internal imperial affairs...

This is a good way to both show off your stupidity, and to end up a frosen corpse.

Think, before you speak.

We Caldari respect strength, but we do not appreciate being the target of a new "Reclaiming" any more than the rest of the EVE galaxy.

Sarum would have you go to war against all the races. And we know beforehand the outcome, if that were to happen.

Strangely, I am not much worried for either Caldari or Gallente, because I forsee a great civil war in the Amarr empire and not a calm and orderly ascenscion to the throne. Undoubtedly, a multitude of corporations outside the empire (sadly, many dishonorable Caldarians amongst them) are poised to sell aid to the candidate of their choice.

And what of Khanid in all this mess?

I will use these quotes as an example of how utterly RESPECTLESS and IGNORANT most outsiders are when it comes to Amarrian internal politics.

I shall no longer call for silence or ask for thought before speaking. They shall be ignored, for the unworthy are not deserving of an answer beyond their ability to understand.

Khanid. The former imperial House of Khanid are exiled, they have no say in the matter which is the Amarrian rite of succession. As matters stand, such is the situation.

Vand'aal, climb down from your throne of self righteousness!
You are the epitome of amarrian arrogance. Face it, there is a storm on the horizon and you are too blinded by faith and ignorance to see the black clouds brewing.

Vand'aal, seems I struck a nerve with you. Think not my words as spite for the Amarr or the late emperor. The man has laid the groundwork for the future and that must be followed to honour his memory. However, if Ardishapur gets the throne, we shall se how much you Amarr value and honour the memory of the dead when you turn your back on it and follow the path to the dark ages, destroying all that has been done in the past.

Moving Shadow. Darius Shakor. I shall grant you another moment of my time, in the hope that you might see beyond your fixated generalisation of an Amarr stereotype.

First of all, I am Amarr. By fate have I been molded into the man I am today, just like the Minmatar have been. Just like you.

Arrogant? Indeed I am. One tires of lecturing those who so openly display a lack of understanding for something so alien to them as the Amarr succession, yet they still insist on voicing their mindless squabble! In the end one does not profit from wasting energy on it at all. Enough words lost.

Blind faith? Not so. I believe in the Lord, and that the Emperor is his Hand in the realm of mortals. Religion is important to most Amarr, including the Ni-Kunni, and your choice to generalise on this fact does you no favors.

Self righteousness? Goes hand in hand with arrogance, does it not. But how self righteous can one be when one does posess the Vision to see the faults of one self? I tire of the meddlesome Gallente, the occasional stray minded Caldari and the ever present Minmatar antagonist. I fall too, and I generalise in return. Yet what I possess is Vision, for I am Amarr and I know of what I speak, which will in time grant me repentance.

I offer objective opinions on internal matters of the Amarr Empire, and if you reread my earlier paragraphs you will see the correctness of that statement. Subjective drivel I leave onto you and the Gallente.

I am a buisness man, comes from years of running the border along Khanid and Ammatar, not to mention the so called Minmatar Republic. I have a problem with fools, as you can understand. Thus I am not a very tolerant man, nor should I be.

So with the added wisdom of hindsight, you might now understand why I reacted at your comment, in another thread, regarding the Minmatar tribes OPENLY supporting the Heir Kor-Azor. Think twice, and you will see that more harm will come from it than good. Thought before action, Moving Shadow. Intellect is the ultimate weapon.

Leave the succession to Amarr, meddle not in our affairs, lest your worst fears may come to life at your own summoning.

My comment has nothing to do with ignorance. You can't just sit there and assume. I actually happen to be quite educated on Amarrian politics, and on the potential heirs, as well.

Well, when threatening others becomes a commonplace event for everyone you don't agree with, yes, people are going to "meddle".

With romours of these new frigat battles, CEOs of certain amarrian companies and there councils have put it apon them selves to state that there company is supporting there favourite heir for the throne.

If anyone is interested in particapating in these contests from in our outside of the empire I suggest you visit you favourite heirs channel, I personaly will be monitoring the "ardishapur" channel for anyone will to back Idonis Ardishapur up in these proceedings..
