I woke up around 20:00. I had decided to take a nap after a long tour deep into Amarrian space. After rubbing my eyes I plotted a course home and hit autopilot. It was a pretty uneventful flight until I entered into Amarr system. I noticed on local that there were 3 PIE hostiles. I didnt think very much about it as I warped to the Yulai stargate. When i arrived at the stargate my threats indicator lighted up as two PIE members were camping the gate. Figuring I could still jump if I didnt engage first I continued to the stargate only to find out that I could not jump. I set a course for the closest station and decided to wait there till my shields recharged.

I notified my corpmates what my situation was and three people were dispatched to my location. Before they arrived, I made another attempt at the gate. This time it was being camped by three PIE members. I quickly engaged and forced all three of them to retreat. By that time Sarkos had arrived in the system. I informed him where I suspected one of the three hostiles would be and we met up there. We found a heavily damaged Maller slowly making its way to the station. We opened fire but to our dissapointment he was able to dock. After waiting for maybe 2 minutes we decided to leave the system and let them be.

On the way home Conrad sent out a distress call saying that the three PIE members were again camping the gate. I quickly turned my tempest class battleship around and headed back to Amarr with EU.

When I arrived in Amarr I told my wingmen to wait until i had engaged the enemy and then warp in behind me. We engaged them again at the Yulai gate and they escaped with very little hull. Jim Hawkins, one of PIE's pilots, warped away very fast after his two corpmates retreated. We knew where he would end up and decided to try and meet him there. Once we arrived he again quickly warped away. Knowing that chasing him would be fruitless I went back to Yulai gate and had my wingmen search for them. With no success in finding them we all regrouped at the Yulai gate.

After waiting for about 5 minutes, to our surprise in warped 2 PIE mallers and an omen. We engaged the first Maller and destroyed it in very short time. We then took out the Omen and lastly Jim Hawkins Maller as he claimed to have had difficulties with his onboard cpu (CTD). All pilots were spared as they flew home in thier brand new n00b frig.

In the end PIE had lost 2 Mallers and a Omen as well as a Maller earlier in the night. I am very proud of my pilots for they did a very good job in dispensing with the PIE scum. Twisted Evil

Methinks the most noble warriors of PIE are in need of reinforcements.. Defeat for our Empire's forces in Amarr is not acceptable. Apathy and lack of interest in anything but material wealth is crippling our defences.

Something must be done when these subhuman barbarians can best us in our most important systems... Neutral

The Minmatar scum fought well and indeed in the end were victorious, though of course some things were left out. Wink To follow Acwrons transmission you would be led to believe that Oracle went without losses which was of course not the case. It is true their losses finacially were not as great as ours however I belive they also lost atleast 4 frigates before that final confrontation. One by my hands in Sarum Prime and 3 in Amarr by the hands of my comrads. We were outnumbered through out the majority of engagements but continued to fight as best we could against their incursion into the Empire. I would like to specifically honor 2 of their pilots, Einheriar Ulrich and Ph0enix who both faced me and my (once) wonderfull Maller in 1 on 1 combat though they both failed and retreated. Both fought honorably and denied their slave brothers offers to assist. I may have lost my Maller to your Tempest and cruisers but my pride and honor are intact and I shall continue to hunt down Oracle where ever they may travel. Again I honor you for a well fought battle and admire your civility in the days events. I also and most importantly salute my new allies in P.I.E., B.Banjo and Jim Hawkins for their bravery and determination in combat and who fought with me fiercly until our luck ran out at the final engagement. And a salute aswell to a small group of loyal Amarrians who came to my aid early in the conflict in Sarum Prime. Without their aid I may not have made it into Amarr for the biggest part of battle. I was trapped and hunted by a sizable force and they rallied to my aid and assisted in surveilance of and combat against the rebel forces. To the one who made a donation of isk I thank you aswell for your contribution. It was forwarded directly to the Corp. account where it can aid in the funding of our fight against the Minmatar terrorists. To see such support of our cause brings me great pride in the Empire and assures me that the people of Amarr are indeed honorable and warrant whatever sacrifice may be necessary to ensure the security of the Amarrian way of life.

(OOC) What ever you hit me with at that gate for the final conflict hurt like hell. Shocked I never imagined I could be destroyed so quickly. Next time I will know better.Embarassed

My appologies for leaving that out but as I was not there during that engagement I was unaware that we had lost 4 frigs. However i would gladly trade in 4 frigs for 4 cruisers :) you fought well Daemun, as did your wingmen, and I look forward to our next meeting Twisted Evil

Next time we meet Ulrich I shall not be so willing to let you simply concede. I will chase you until all that is left is your fleeing pod. I have made my first sacrifice for my people and soon will come the time for you to make a sacrifice to yours. I am flattered that you would desire parts of our glorious ships for decoration, even in their most simple form they are indeed a lovely sight to behold. I suppose the old tradition of hanging a pinup on the walls of a garage to give you something to admire and dream of obtaining still carries on in the minmatar chop shops. God knows that hunk of scrap you keep parked there isn't much to look at. Laughing Perhaps you would like to come over and wash and wax my lovely Bestower one day. I would of course not trust you to lay your slimy hands on a warship, But would pay you a meager sum of a warm meal and cot to sleep on in my hanger for the night. I ran through a jumble of jetisoned slaves the other day and made quite a mess of my Industrial vessel. She could certainly use a good cleaning. What say you Einheriar Ulrich, Of the Bloodline of Einheriar?Wink

Ah a sad night it seems!

PIE never expected the war with the Minmatar terrorists to be easy. We never thought we would win every battle. We always knew we would lose ships for the cause.

We stand to protect Amarr, the Emperor, our religion and our traditions from external interference and we are willing to spend our ships and blood to do so.

So, Oracle, savour this sweet moment because I am sure there will be bitter ones to come for you and for all enemies of Amarr!

After the mission debriefing and going over the battle reports, I was both extremely pleased and somewhat perplexed by what I saw.

I am, of course most overjoyed at this victory and the performance of Oracle pilots. What perplexes me though is the report of the PIE ships using Hybrid weapons. Most strange that Amarr pilots would use weapons other than Beams. Odd.

I salute all who fought, for by all the reports the fighting was fierce and fought with courage and honor. My admiration of the skill and personal honor of the pilots of PIE grows with each meeting.

Daemon we must have a re-match, for it was not a fair fight. for one, i was in a stabber with guns unfamiliar to me, as i had lost my Thorax in the Battle of Auner the night before. my guns, optimal at under 10km, could not even hit you at 35km where you warped in. however i must say you fought honourably and drained my shields quickly (i didn't have a thermal hardener equiped) and our encounter has only left me thirsting for more!

I hope to be able to read, and indeed join, more of these glorius Minmatar victories. With an apparent increase in the calls for peace coming from the Amarrians it would appear that the war is turning and I can only hope that I will be able to assist in our ultimate victory that will lead to the liberation of our people.

Oracle, I salute you.

Now kids, what did I say about going out to play when I'm not around? Uncle Red wants to test his metal against some skilled enemy pilots.

I thought I smelled something when I passed through Amarr last week...

While I hate to dissapoint both you and your primative olfactory glands, what you may have caught a whiff of was a very splendid "earth whiskey" drink that Lady Vetinari graciously passed round the pilots mess to celebrate having just totalled 7 of your ships and seriously damaged whatever else you had just thrown at us, for the loss of only one of our cruisers, outside YOUR own base! Very Happy

What a party Wink
