Recently high officials in the Federation Navy and the Gallente senate met together to form a new tactical unit to deal with the surge of criminals in Empire space.

"No longer will the lawfull citzenry of the Gallente Empire be harrased by ore theifs and pirates hiding in imposter clone bodies!"

One Gallente senator said with a resounding applause from the rest of the officials. An Admiral of the Federation Navy has placed one of his former Captain's in charge of a tactical unit called Federation Police. The admiral added:

"I'm sure we're all tired of Concord's lack of action against certian criminals. But these guys will follow the scum outside of Empire space, if needed into other Empires as well."

Rumor has it that a meeting involving the new Police force and several other corps will be demonstrating the use of "Campaigns" which will break pirate blocades as well as recruiting new players in Luminaire.

The Chaplain looks amused.

"Why keep Gallente calling their Federation an Empire ..."

The fact that it was a Gallente senator who made this remark is both interesting and disturbing. I have lived outside of Federation space for some months now. I don't recall elected officials making claims of empire when I left. Perhaps I should pay more attention to current events. In any case, I am curious as to the identity of this senator so that I know who I shouldn't vote for in the next election...

Perhaps the senator had a slip of the tounge, after all, space in control of the Gallente, Ammar, Minmitar and Caldari are commonly referd to as Empire space.

Granted. However, this sort of thing always raises flags with me. I tend to distrust the hawks in our government, though, for reasons I won't go into here. We are currently living in "interesting" times, and they call for care in our words and deeds. This applies especially to our elected officials, to whom words and deeds are their stock in trade.

On behalf of the Federation Police, we give our sympathy to the noble Ammar Empire. The Emperor's words of peace were truly remarkable in his recently published works.
