anyone is complaining about most scirmish only beeing 1 vs 20 or something so how about a challenge system!


- you can send someone a challenge with some conditions ( like how much ISK for the winner [ both player paying the bet into a pot on agreeing to the contitions- and the winner takes it all].
- after the kill both player will get "teleported" back to the point of the Acc. Gate and the gate will be closed.
- the looser gets a delivery with the stuff from is shield which did not get destroyed [ so u dont loose all]


- if both player agree to the conditions both player get a "BM" to a acc. gate ... but not the SAME one .. so NOONE can CAMP the other one out before getting into the battle ground.

- they can both enter deathspace and take on there challenge - NOONE else can use the Acc. Gate.
Options:
- 1vs1 , 2vs2 ( for 2++vs2++ u can only enter via gang-warp if ur gang member count match the challenge)
- limiting the access to e.g. frigs only, BS only , HAC only during creating a challenge - and u can only enter the Acc. gate if u are in the right ship. ( same as the acc. gate for 2/10 complexes which would not let u in in a BS)
- Challenge stays open for 14 days .. and if accepted from both sides the agreed ISK value gets into the pod. and u have 14 days to finish afterwards the ACC. Gate BM will disappear and ISK will be recharged back.
- Creating a challenge cost about 2-10% of the bet - maybe even depending on a social skill level.

just some initial 2 cents here ... hope that sounds like a good idea !?

How about no?

The best thing about the PvP is that it is totally unfair. You just have to be careful, and very paranoid. And sometimes, it still happens.

They've made it so easy now (wcs, safe spots, instas) that it really is not a problem to avoid combat if you look out for it.

Stop whining.

an did not whine a single tear i was just talking about some addition ... but maybe u might have missed that on looking for a thread do flame ....

This wasnt about converting something into something else at all - but more as an Add-On for people who would like to have some fair contest PVP vs some other people but not a 1:20 vs stupid Gate-Campers ....

so plz go some place else with ur stupid comments .... go flame some "my total new insta BM IDEA" "more learning for Nuubs" Threads

You can simply talk to a person and make a gang.
Or You culd meet in 0.0.

And AFAIK, CCP is against "mechanics for being fair", co the risk of being tricked, ambushed, thatevered is the part of the game :)

I really would NOT like to have the option to challenge someone is a safe environment... thats just not EVE... but to be able to challenge someone without getting security hits and still in a none-safe (like eve is) evironment is more like it... if there was that option and u wanted it to be safe from outsiders attacking 1 of the 2 fighters u could just go to 0.5-1.0 systems...

For a fight in empire you use loot can with the thief flag
You can go in 0.0 anf fight

I don't like the idea of an instancing pvp training ground, it's too much like guildwars and that's not Eve
After that we have a Forum full of *** is a coward he refuse fighting me

People complain cause they want fight one vs other, they have lot of opportunity to do this if they start to speak

Why don't create your own version of the fight club. None will speak about it, but everyone be a member and could do a duel fight
That player based Pvp, don't need instancing, just corp fight or thief can fight or 0.0 fight
With your Fight club, people paid the bet before, you are the one who put the rule and so on.
I would rather use a fight round from a player than a guildwar instance
I play Eve :)

i think it's a good idea.

Let people challenge anybody in the same system as them, apply a hefty CCP charge per challenge to avoid griefers, and have them warp out to a random piece of deadspace 25k from one another. Don't let ppl drop BMs, or use warp drives or MWDs until the fight is over.

Only problem being that groups could use it to create easy super safes in-system.

Make it a time limit and make it dump the instance and pop them back into normal space if they don't shoot at each other or exceed the time limit. If there is a set place that it always dumps them back into from the instance, a planet or a belt, you can be there waiting for them. Half an hour max which would make it a pretty dumb place to try to hide.
