In the interests of fairness and balance, there is a counter for the Warp scrambler but nothing for the Webber.

CCP will there be a module to counter this effect ?

I am not personally in favour of it but there would appear to be a valid arguemnet for having such a module.

MWD works, in that you more or less get back up to your base speed when your webbed and have a mwd running.

You could also jam them, nos them, or simply stay out of web range.

Would be really nice if webber effectiveness was directly related to propulsion strength Smile

Yeah... there really isnt a good counter to webs... MWD does about put you back at base speed, but now with 500% more sig radius and 3/4 the cap you would have. Afterburners dont even matter, nanos/overdrives only add ~25 speed... ohh leet....

I really think webbers should be like a BS weapon.. think of Inty vs Inty fights w/o webs, that would be freaking awesome, then we'd actually have to rely on agility and speed to win!! Much fewer *400/200*mm plated setups...

IMHO Webbers should be either:

1. Based on propulsion strength
2. Have their fitting increased to 100 CPU use Or
3. Removed

Oh yeah, a fight where nothing would happen. Lets see what happens when two ships orbit each other at 3km/s each? Oh, tracking goes to ****... Joy. Or, one ship just points in the other direction and suddenly he's out of scram range before the other guy can react. It would completely remove inty/inty fights from the game.

They were going to do that based off the ECM scheme, but it made it really hard to catch someone.

For the love of god, leave webs alone.. My blaster-ranis has enough problems getting in range of other inties as is :)
