I went to see that agent i was told i could only speak to after talking to these agents in space near the gates.

he then told me i needed a certificate before he would speak to me (which now appeared as a mission in my journal)

so i`m currently on my way back to chaven to try speak to teh agent, i`ll update this post with the results.

ok, i went to the agent and it gave me the same message, yadda yadda, not an agent.

the mission iw as given states : Bring Arizam a Graduation Certificate which you can acquire by speaking to one of his agents located near
one of the stargates in Sehmy, Chaven and Emrayur.

i have petitioend this and will psot the results. (if i am given the certificates, other people will be able to go on and do these missions)

GM advised me not to talk to that agent again for a few days, hopefully he will get fixed soon.

i`d advise anyone who took the mission to talk to the gate agents to petition it also.

This is a known issue. A bug managed to sneak its way into the code after the missions had been tested and verified by Q/A, which caused these particular agents to have identity issues. Will be fixed in the next patch. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA, as far as I know there hasn't been any green light given for a hot-patch but we'll see.

How about the deviration problem with important storyline missions doesnt rubb onto the other aligned factions? As it is now, you only gain standing with the faction you do missions for and not the allied factions. However, you decrease standing with the "enemy" factions as you always done.

Also the standing penalities that was introduced for faction ships in missions are starting to take a major toll on many active mission runners.

Thanks for the update, thought I was going mad, especially after I petitioned and a GM who told me it was working. I must have flown around the 3 systems so many times talking to all the agents, that they must have thought I was pimping. ugh

I've done the entire mission sequence for the "event agents", and went on to the next agent, who suddenly appeared in my home station :)

This agent needs a "signed certificate" that you're supposed to get from the gate-agents in the rooky systems. This wasnt working then (dont know if it is now), but a friendly GM gave me the certificate after a petition.

The mission sequence following the certificate is fun, with 1 mission needing an item that you can only get by doing a few missions for another agent...

After the mission sequence i got sent to yet another agent, but with no location, and no info. The same friendly GM told me where to find this agent, but he wasnt there, so i kinda gave up, and hope they fix it, because this kinda stuff is fun! newbie level, but very entertaining...

Zrakor - any idea when this will get fixed? the gate agents vanished a few patches ago and have not re-appeared.

Since the patch notes mention this mission (and the certificate), hopefully we will see the agents working with the comming patch (new tuesday).

Zrakor - while we're talking about agents in space, what about adding the two missing Serpentis Bronze Tag agents in the Gallente starter stations? Right now only the one in Bourynes exists.

The Modal Light Electron reward from the Bourynes one alone would be nice for the newbies.

I was there at Bourynes the other day and noticed this one was gone.

Also noticed that when I went to use I think the Amarr agents, they weren't where they were supposed to be.

Would be nice to know whats going on with them, if anything. I mean I don't mind them having a lunch break every so often, just want to know if they are supposed to disappear.
