Heres my Idea. What about Micro Jump Drives for a Battleship

Short Jump rang and would use 100% of the cap in order to jump.

It's just a bit too imbalanced to be honest.

Or you could just have a ship thats a dedicated portal spawner make it really skill intensive such as jumpdrive 5. give it 0 offensive and defensive capabilitys and make it so it can use its own portal.

This gives you a one way jump point

or just have it give negative bonuses like MWD.

-%50 top speed
-%25 cap recharge rate
-%25 shield boost
-%25 armor repair

And yes you could get past choke points, but you couldn't fight very well. Good for getting stuff past gatecamps.

Perhaps make it Transport Ship only mod.

edit: Or how about you allow Alliances to make their own private jumpgate? Opens portal to a cyno field in range. Takes a bit more resources than a Outpost. Takes resources per cubic meter of ship jumped through. Stationary, and can't be moved, but can be destroyed. Must have sovereignty in system.

There is already enough stuff to get past gate camps and transport ships should never have any special treatment.
