I just bought a new compter, its a pretty cheap computer and is not my main desktop. I would like run EVE on it thouhg. When I open up eve once it gets to the character screen and it loads, the client starts blinking on and off then eventually just does not blink back on. I take it that this is my video card. Which is a ATI Radeon XPRESS 200. Maybe Omega Drivers?, any ideas?

If you have a ATI Xpress 200, you have a onboard Radeon x300 most likely.

Have you got the most uptodate catalysts?

Ok the fact you dont know, means you dont simply.

Go here and download the drivers

Choose your OS and then choose radeon product and then the Catalyst driver.

Make sure you uninstall the old ones first (use the add/remove software in control panel)

sorry, never really did this kinda thing before. are you saying to uninstall the ATI control panel? the only other ATI related program on the add/remove list is an exe called display driver....Just want to verify before I do something I should not do and screw up my puter.

Remove all ATI related programs on that list.
Restart your computer
Install the new drivers you downloaded from ATI's website.
Restart your computer.
Test eve.
