Ok well call me silly, but I actually wanted to start doing as accurate books as i can for my corps projects and so i got me a copy of quickbooks premier 2006. Well turns out you can enter as a big number as 100 mil into that software package so forget trying to inventory track the trit you need for capital ship production.

so, anyone out there know a software package or db or something that can be used to effectively track inventory (ie average cost of things like minerals etc) as well as finances that allows for numbers as large as 100 mil or higher? Silly about quick books really is...

Just do what they do when drawing up any accounts in the business world. Use a multiplyer. Base your sheet on the premise that everything is multiplied by 1000 or 10000 and problem solved. 1 trit becomes .0001 or .00001. This should work fine. Tbh, your probably better off mocking up your own with excel anyways. Its pretty easy to get the formulas right, and you can make it look good.
