I've created a few pages with Eve related info at http://evegeek.no-ip.com/ but by some reason some people have problem accessing it. For some the page wont load at all and for others it may take up to a minute to load. Me and yet some other don't have any problems at all.

nice site. useful info on the refinery.
I think the problem is more down to the ingame browser. We are currently building our corps site, and have to keep relogging to see the changes ( the browsers cache is very poor, and pressing refresh does nothing ).

I sure hope they update the browser soon.
gonna link to your site from ours. ;)

Thanks, and you're welcome. I'm gonna add the missing mineral info and some info about drones too anyday now. :-)

Remove your html beginning and end tags. I had this problem myself, for some reason this fixed it.

Small Note: Some of your damage statistic on armor are off because armor resistance's change with ships.

On the code, it looks like it should work fine with the ingame browser. I just recently put together a ingame site with messageboard and had horrible problems, it ended up being I had to download an IIS security patch.

I don't know if your hosting this yourself though, I ended up just reinstalling IIS and patching it so it was fresh and it fixed all my Internal 500 errors :)

Good luck with the site though, not sure if it will help but you can look at my current site http://venal.no-ip.com/ for source code, it's a bit sloppy since ASP generates most of it though.

Gah! The ingame browser is based on Internet Explorer? :-)

Yeah I know, they are based on Minmatar ships. I'm gonna change that some time soon.

I'm hosting the site myself so I'm gonna update apache some day and see if that fixes it. But I really think the problem lies in the ingame browser.

please post a copy of one of your pages that people are having problems with, perhaps we can figure it out.

I've been building in game sites for awhile now, and I always send the html tags, no problem from anyone.

so a sample would be in order.

thanks.

My guess would be caching at the server somewhere. All my dynamic pages update fine, even when accessed with a get verb. (standards let GETs be cached but PUTs should always retrieve frech data).
