I understand that in a program as complex as EVE is things do go wrong from time to time.
More often that not, people log into the 'Known Issues and Workarounds' section to let off steam and have a bit of a rant. I know that does not do much to solve the problem, but with a lack of any information that is what most people will do.
Could I please suggest that a topic be maintained in this forum as a sticky that is only open to GMs and Devs, where we could be kept up to date with what problems there are and when we can expect a resolution. And getting this information as soon as possible would do wonders for customer relations.
Keeping quiet about it lets people believe that either you are unaware of the problem, or that you do not care about them as customers. I understand that it is not possible to give exact times to fix most problems that are encountered, but something like this would do wonders:
"We are having problems with some of our nodes due to a hotfix today. We are working on it and hope to have it up in the next hour. If we can not fix it by then, we will reboot the servers at 21h00 GMT and rollback. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused."
Giving specific information would do a lot to let people get on with other things while EVE is fixed, rather than having 10k people sitting and waiting.
