It may be like comparing apples and oranges, but I was hoping someone could point out which ship would be best for someone like me, who is all about the missles, and just starting to train up other weapons systems.

They both can carry 5 Heavy launchers, but the ferox can mount 2 more turrets, but the cerebus has missle buffs.

Thanks.

My honest opinion .. Get a ferox

The Cerb is a very high skill machine to get anything half decent out it. and is uninsurable . So an expensive loss should you make a "deliberate" mistake.

Should you however, decide on a Cerberus. - drop me line and we may come to an arrangement. ( un ashamed plug )

Cerebus is the better missile boat, but costs a LOT more (70mil or so) and you get a fraction of that insurance back (Ferox costs 30mil, you get about 22mil back I think).

in my opinion, HAcs are post-BS ships. Get them once you've got BS. You'll need that sort of ISk anyway

Ferox can passive tank any NPC spawn, but it has half the dps of a cerberus. Its half the price.

Ferox sucks for pvp though.

Of the two, which has the least chance of bankrupting your wallet if you lost 1 or 2 ships.
