Originally, several MC pilots were going to be attending FanFest. However, the costs involved and real-life commitments have taken a severe toll on the potential size of our blob, yet we still wanted to do something fun and memorable for everyone at this once a year occurrence.

So, in that spirit, the Mercenary Coalition would like to give some lucky pilots the opportunity to own some of the most beautiful and deadly ships in all of EVE for a mere fraction of thier true value!

The Grand Prize - To those who would fly her, the onyx colored Caldari Navy Raven needs no special advertising. You know what this ship is and what it can do. It is a true OMGWTFBBQINSANITY piece of engineering.

Here are the rules:

• The lottery is open to everyone in EVE with an active account, however members of the MC may not partcipate.


• The cost of a 'ticket' is 50 million isk.


• One person can buy a maximum of 10 tickets.


• A minimum of 40 tickets must be sold for the lottery to take place.

OMG! A CNR for just 50 mil?! How do I get a 'ticket'??

Send your 50 million isk to the character 'Mercenary Empress' with a note stating 'CNR Lottery Ticket'. If you are buying multiple tickets, please send the isk in one lump sum and you will be credited with the correct number of tickets for the drawing.


Wait a minute!! How do I know this isn't a scam?!

Because if it was a scam, my reputation in EVE would be pretty much destroyed. It's no scam. One of my own pilots is donating the ship.


How & when will the drawing for the winner take place?

This is the fun part!

Oveur will conduct the drawing for the ships at FanFest next Friday night (21 October) in the presence of as many of your fellow EVE players who wish to witness it!

You'll have a little piece of paper with your name on it for as many times as you have bought 'tickets'. I'll borrow a dev's trash can or something to draw the winner's name out of.


I’ve got a few billion lying around. When does this start? How long do I have to buy a ticket?

You can start right now! Ticket sales will end at 1800 EVE time on 21 October. The drawing will take place later that evening. The number of tickets bought will tracked and viewable on an online spreadsheet in the next few days.

What about the HACs?!

Hold on there! We understand that some people might get upset and start smashing things, so we're giving you even more chances to "win"! How so?

After the initial drawing for the CNR, there will be additional drawings for the following ships:

2nd Drawing: Deimos Heavy Assault Cruiser
3rd Drawing: Zealot Heavy Assault Cruiser
4th Drawing: Cerebrus Heavy Assault Cruiser
5th Drawing: Vagabond Heavy Assault Cruiser
6th Drawing: Ishtar Heavy Assault Cruiser
7th Drawing: Occator Transport

How about that, eh? Six chances to win! Six chances to come away with more than you put in!

One ticket gives you seven chances to win!

So, that's it! It's a fantastic opportunity for some lucky players to save months of time agent whoring or to get some of the most awesome ships in the game for a fraction of what you'd have to pay for them normally!

It's our hope that this will get a lot of attention and generate a small amount of excitement for those attending FanFest with the rest of us. Good luck to everyone that participates! May the Golden Ticket be yours!

BTW, I'm not planning to do something like this again anytime soon. Well... maybe next year we'll do a Carrier lottery or something, eh?
