Picked up a module (from pirate loot) called Indirect Scanning Dampening Unit 1, which "reduces the range and speed of a targeted ship's sensors." It requires the Sensor Linking skill to work (Level 1).

I'll give out the stats if anyone's interested, but my question is whether anyone has seen/used one of these before. Any help or info anyone could provide would be much appreicated.

Yes sensor dampeners are a fairly common and much used item.
However reports are atm suggesting that their use is causing Client Crashing(as of 1128), so I hope people are avoiding their use.

I picked up one of these recently too but, as the last poster mentioned, they're buggy.

Seem to be very useful for PvP but not against NPCs in my limited experience. Anyone found different?

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Guess I'll keep it to one side until they iron out a few more creases Wink
