I have missile bombardment at lvl2 but my rockets still appear to have a flight time of 2 seconds. Either this skill is broken or the "Attributes" tab when I "Show Info" is rounding 2.4 down to 2

Can anyone else confirm this with other missile types? If the correct flight time is displayed for larger missile types then it is probably just a display rounding error.

This is a bit of a wild guess but I think that only things that you actually have "equipped" on your ship take any skill bonuses into account.

AK may be right, but if you are looking at the info on an equipped rocket by clicking show info on your ship and then modules tab..the following applies:

There was a bug where you had to un-fit the launcher, re-package and re-fit to get the correct skill applied attributes to show on missiles...not sure if its been fixed yet. So try that and see if it works.

Rockets were never changed much. If you read the patch notes the missle nerf exludes rockets to the most extent. As such all the new missle skills would not be implemented on to rockets because that would just make them 2 times better then before the patch, so this might be why your rockets are unchanged, because they never were at the end of a nerf bat.

Anyone have the link to the old in depth missle discussion that showed how missles/rockets would be effected by the nerf patch?

I think the display only ever shows whole seconds for flight time - I've never seen any missile display a decimal point in its info page.

Most likely it is using the extra .4 seconds though.

No **** sherlock. You can fit the ammo to you ship and then rightclick>show info on the fitting screen.

Anyway it occured to me that my rockets are not showing any other improvements form the new missile skills so maybe "rockets" aren't under the classification "missiles"

The missile skills (most of them) only effect guided missiles. Torpedos and rockets are both not guided and don't get most of the missile skill bonuses.

As someone said before, it's not showing the decimal. With bombardment 4 rockets have a 2.8 second flighttime (confirmed), this gets shown as 2 in the info screen tho.

That wasn't cool Coolgamer. The guy was just trying to give some useful info. Maybe you should try to be Chillgamer instead!

all flight time values are TRUNCATED, not rounded. this means you need to get bombardment to 5 (50% bonus) to get it to show up as 3 seconds on your display. however, u will recieve the bonuses
