Kalhan, yes one might argue that now the money situation is being evened out, with the the poor people who joined late and were podded by M0o being millionaires now. However, I see an even bigger disbalance happening, because I never wake up before 3 or 4 hours after down-time, and I miss out on all the really profitable trade routes. Basically all North Americans will now be 4 times poorer than Europeans, since by the time we wake up, the trade routes return 4 to 5 times less profit. The only way to end this is to let pirates back into at least all 0.1-0.3 systems ASAP.

Give traders a reason to go into non-empire controlled space and the situation will improve a bit.

Good point. This is the key.

We need more of the "risky" stuff to be put on the market; drugs, guns, slaves, etc, and to originate in non-empire space and be sold in "legal" space.

"Maybe that's what all the pirates are whining about, they can't pod noobs anymore."

I think everybody allready knows this.

You gave power to the people, it got abused.

No ammount of name calling will make a diference now, but still they try:(

Europeans tend to be at work or school at 1-2pm, is it not more likely that early risers in the US (6-7am east coast) will be exploiting this ?

Xane, it is the summer, no school. And yes, maybe some early risers in the US. The point is, I'm not awake when all the big profit is made, and I don't consider that to be balanced.

Let the pirates in, and those good routes will take a lot longer to deplete, so others will have a chance as well.

European summer holidays only started this week.

In any case, how does that benefit Europe, surely Americans can get up early with no school to get ready for ?

<< Heck even hunting pirates I can make way more than MOST trade routes in an hour. 20k bounty every 2 mins = 600k/hour + Loot >>

Err...I make about 600k in 30 minutes trading antibiotics. Most of the route going through space that pirates would have roamed to catch people like me.

If you think trade is less than mining or NPC pirate hunting, you're doing something wrong.

<< I guess I just don't understand what all the pirates are crying about. There are plenty of targets out in 0.0 non empire space. Hell that's where most of the corps get there rare minerals. The only problem I see is they tend to be better defended since they aren't a bunch of noobs that are easy pickings. Maybe that's what all the pirates are whining about, they can't pod noobs anymore. >>

People have said repeatedly what the problem is. You're just refusing to listen. There aren't plenty of profitable targets out in 0.0 space. Attacking miners would be less profitable than arming their ships with mining lasers and mining the ore themselves.

Then there's the problem of locating the people and travelling to them before they're through mining/travelling for the night. And offloading anything you do take, cause hey THERE ARE NO STATIONS IN MOST OF 0.0 SPACE.
