After all the most recent changes, mostly in the lower sec systems, or 0.0 systems.

There was a time the game was so - well - unresponsive to some things that they actually invaded 1.0 space, pok-killed a lot of new people, and also the police. Not sure if this was something to demonstrate issues in the game, or just pure griefing for griefings sake. I haven't ever asked, but you will probably get differing opinions from different people you speak to.

If you want to be mostly safe, stay inside 1.0-0.5 space systems until you are braver, and have some funds to secure items you might potentially loose. Often isn't a bad idea to go exploring in your newbie ship in some sectors before taking a more valuable ship with you - you stand to loose less, but don't expect to be able to fight NPC or Player pirates in it ;)

The m0o corp seems to "lurk" in the lower parts of of the universe around the wildlands and sometimes they are paying a visit in molden heath and they got some fire power. Ywev tried to shoot me down and he made around 225 dmg with every second salvo. I barley escaped with 13% armour and 18% struct.(this happened in 1077 patch)im not sure but he seemed to have a battleship (the powergrid he had was over 2000)
