Well, that effectively froze most corporations actions to wait for it. It has never come. Many corps no longer have labs, or no longer have labs where their operations are focused. It is over 4 days since this committment was made. My corporation had obligations to meet, unlike CCP my obligations do not have real life financial ramifications. CCP's actions will eventually get me to vote with my wallet. This has to be some of the most pitiful example of customer relations I have ever seen exhibited in the entertainment field. I have been gaming longer than many of your customers have been alive, and have never seen such potential being squandered away as is happening with EVE.
I started and have been running my own business for nearly 25 years and it wasn't by making false promises and failing to follow through on promises. CCP while getting above average grades on creativity and innovative design, is failing miserably on product delivery and customer support. Too damn bad, even the most tenacious gamers eventually can reach a point of diminishing returns. I'm not there yet, but damn sure can see it on the horizon.
I really hope you can get it right.

I agree 100%, squandering potential doesnt even cut it. This game could have been so good if only they could deliver all they have promised. Its a great shame that it couldnt have been developed by a company with decent customer relations and community management. As it is, to the cutomer ccp is faceless and unreachable. Putting a barrier of ignorance between yourself and your customers is never a good idea, as im sure lots of people have already voted with their wallets...sad but true.
