i like the map dont get me wrong, the searc and set location are great and chosing what type of route you want to travel, all great points.

i do have one niggle, that is i can not zoom out, once i have opened the map, i zoom straight into the system i am in, that detail is superb, but i would like to see my neighbouring sytems in an over veiw. giving me a more general feel to where i am.

if this is cabable i might haave a better look at other systems near to my location and think yeah i fancy the sound of that one and pop over. see what i mean.

you can zoom out. use the mouse wheel or hold down both buttons and drag up and down.
Also there is a setting that shuts of the zoom to the planet you are. it's in map settings/animations

Also, if you double click on a system, the map will centre on it enabling you to move around and have a better look.

I love the map...

i do love the map, but i cant read it as i want, when close up to my face storm.

i tried the wheel but nothing happened, so i will have a nosey in the settings and give the double click a whirl.

thanx

You have to click on the map area first before your wheel will zoom the map. At least this is what I have to do.
