Ooh, yeah! all right!
We’re jammin’:
I wanna jam it wid you.
We’re jammin’, jammin’,
And I hope you like jammin’, too.
.

Ancient song from Mother Earth.

-----

Jas > hunting in Heidon Herko
Jas > maybe apoc holed up in the station

Ok boys, here we go...

Lock and load boys, those CVA guys spotted on Amarr space.”

Alright boss. Destination and loadout?"

Tash-Murkon. Eskai, fit 4 white noises, intel says they fly Amarr. Jukki, load defenders just in case.”

And I sure hope I know what I’m doing… damn, I hate flying ships with crew, even small cruisers like this… damn, I’m too rookie to take ships with crew to battle!!

Ooh, yeah! all right!
We’re jammin’:
I wanna jam it wid you.

Autopilot set, load ready. Take us to war boss! YYEEHHAAA!!

How I wish I could share your enthusiasm boys... I can take you… but I’m the only one with pod'n'clone here. Hope I can bring us all back.

We’re jammin’, jammin’,
And I hope you like jammin’, too.

>> Autopilot jumping to Tash-Murkon Prime

Herko > I'm in tash. Where you guys?
Jas > I'm warping us to the hedion gate herko
>> Following Jas in warp

Ain’t no rules, ain’t no vow, we can do it anyhow:
I’n’i will see you through,

Jas > chase and lock that guy
>> Shar has started trying to warp scramble the Elite Cruiser

Ok boys, here we go…

Jukki, lock that Zealot. Eskai, jam him now!

"Boss, this module activates an attack on our target and will result in a security status penalty…"

Eskai, WTF!!?? We are at war with this guys jam’im damnit go go GO!!

Aye bos, jammin’!

We’re jammin’ -
To think that jammin’ was a thing of the past;

Talk to me Eskai!!

Aye boss, 3rd mod got’im, Zealot jammed! We got'im boss! We got the bastard!!!

We’re jammin’,
And I hope this jam is gonna last
.

Jammin’ holdin’?!?

Aye boss, holdin’!!

Keep the 3 mods on him, I want him jammed for good!!

No bullet can stop us now, we neither beg nor we won’t bow;
Neither can be bought nor sold
.

Jukki, switch to bloodclaws, shoot’im, shoot'im now!

>> Loading the Light Missile into the Standard Missile Launcher; this will take approximately 10 seconds.
>> Your Bloodclaw Light Missile I hits Jon doing 14.0 damage.

Bloodclaws on a Zealot… damn I’m so ****ing green! A sting, nothing but a sting, but this is all I have. Hope Jas is getting through with her blasters…

See, I wanna jam it wid you
We’re jammin’ (jammin’, jammin’, jammin’)
I’m jammed: I hope you’re jammin’, too.

Boss, incoming hostiles… 3 of’em...

Damn, damn, damn!! I’m too green for this crap, damn, DAMN!! Focus Herko… damnit, focus!!

Jas > jam red

Eskai, jam that Red guy!"

“…”

Eskai? Keep me posted Eskai damnit!

Eskai sounds so… Calm?

Ain’t no jammin’ this one, boss...

Oh gods…

...and we ain’t got defenders loaded...

Oh gods…

Goodbye, boss. At least it’s Caldari...

I'm sorry boys...

Juggernaut Torpedo I belonging to Red hits you, doing 324.0 damage.
Juggernaut Torpedo I belonging to Red hits you, doing 478.1 damage.

We all defend the right; jah - jah children must unite:
Your life is worth much more than gold
.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

I yell from my pod at the Cold that swallowed my ship and my crew, the rage and the goo almost choking me... Some subconcious reflex warps me to the nearest belt.

Jam’s about my pride and truth I cannot hide
To keep you satisfied
.

Jas > I’m dead.

No we are not. NO WE ARE NOT!!!

We are safely sitting in pods. My boys are shattered out there among the debris.

Our crew dies. We don’t.

True love that now exist is the love I can’t resist,
So jam by my side
.

Rap > So the jamming sucked?
Herko > I had the first dude jammed... a torpedo broke my concentration...

I try to smile through clenched teeth.

Jas > don't fly a ship unless you can lose with a big smile :)

’cos everyday we pay the price with a little sacrifice,
Jammin’ till the jam is through
.

A BlackBird I replace with an hour’s work… My dead crew is frozen in the Cold forever.

We’re jammin’ (jammin’, jammin’, jammin’), yeah-eah-eah!
I wanna jam it wid you.
Jammin’, jammin’ (hope you like jammin’ too)
.

I'm sorry, boys...

Why did you die for, again?

*smiles sadly*

Guess we are all entitled to our own point of view, right?

*returs to his drink*

...and our way to say it...

Aphoxema stared at the cold of space, conveniently protected by the fact her eye was an ocular drone in space a kilometer from her ship.

She was in a Caracal.. she had only piloted this ship for a week, but it was already second nature, an extension of herself, as were the drones that ran the ship.

She had long debated the idea of having a human crew with herself, having concluded that drones were all she needed for anything, as they always have been.

The arguement's she'd had with others, often coming down to the same questions... "Humans are creative, they can improvise as necessary...", Aphoxema always snapping back with a response that was similar to "I DON'T NEED TO BE CREATIVE WHEN I'M STICKIN' MISSILES ON'NA RACK!"

She didn't know it, but every time she had gone out and relied on these drones to get her work done, she was taking another part of herself away. Each sortie was one more strike to her outlook on human kind. She was ever more greatly seeing pod pilots as superiour in any way possible, and percieving humans as 'naive children' that ultimately were to be the followers of pod pilots until they 'advanced' themselves.

She had her setbacks with relying on drones... while they could often work autonomously with a given task, their totem-pole logic often brought them back to the need for clarification of their orders, sometimes in the middle of their tasks, sometimes while Aphoxema was worriedly attending to something that would often lead to whether the drones would make it out on another flight or not.

She didn't care. Like the family to their pet, like a government to it's people, she saw no reason to trust or risk a humans life unecessarily.

Deep as usual, Mr. Kerghans. I can never smile upon losing a ship. It is a dangerous thing to forget....

Nero Scuro wondered where Aphowhatever got drones that could fit in a Caracal. Drones are, like, 50 times the size of a man. Plus they don't have hands. And can't SEE, OR take orders beyond 'shoot/mine that'. Sure, drones that could do complex tasks such as run starships were being designed. And guess what happened to them? Yeah, they're called rogue drones.

Nero Scuro also wonders why he's speaking in the 3rd person. Whatever he's smoking, it's goooood.

Oh yeah, and excellent story/report/whatever, Herko. Interesting read. That's exactly why only ever fly frigs. And never use EW anymore. And never fight CVA. =/

Glad to see that amid such strife, the Admiral still enjoys a little story. Very Happy

An interesting read...

While I feel sorry for the loss of your crew mates I must point out that they CHOSE to fly with you on your mission of unholy aggression against the CVA.

The sooner Star Fraction crew realise the futility and pointlessness of attacking an organisation which merely seeks to protect the Amarrian Empire from external interference (anarchist, terrorist & pirate) the better.

Maybe then this bloodshed and loss of life can end...

*Bows*

Your condolences are honestly appreciated...

*Stiffens*

Yet... I do choose which side to fight for, on my own free will. I don't decide when to fight.

My dead men, myself...

...even our opponent that struck us down...

...we were defending our different ideals with missiles and laser fire.

With all due respect to your rank, Admiral... I do hope the leaders of both sides remember whose duty it is, to discuss ideals with words instead of missiles and a dead crew.
