Here's a question, I've got 2 Miner 1 Original blueprints. I take one set to the lab and research it for a few hours. Meanwhile, I am at a factory in another system with the other blueprint. The research I am doing on the miner 1 at the lab, will it affect all my Miner 1 blueprints, in otherwords, will my next batch at factory start with better numbers, or is the research only on that one set of blueprints that is in the lab now.

Thanks in advance.

Huh?

The question still remains: If I research mineral efficiency on a Miner 1 blueprint, will MY Miner 1 mineral efficiency go up on all produciton of Miner 1s or am I only researching that one blueprint's mineral efficiency. Reworded, maybe this will be easier to answer.

The answer to your question is no.

Each blueprint has its' own set of statistics which effect the resources and time required. At no time does enhancement or degradation of one version of a blueprint effect another pre-existing version at player level. This also applies to copies. Once a copy is made from an original, it is considered to be a stand alone item and thus does not inherit any improvements made upon the parent original.

The acceptation to the rule is if the developers make a game wide change to a blueprint.
