Well with the last patch i honestly give up - my people and places is totally screwed i tried rebooting - reinstalling and everything, it was all just a waste of time - it loads my bookmarks fine but when i try to delete one it just locks up in that endless loop - i am a trader so the hundreds upon hundreds of bookmarks i use every week just went down the toilet(i create and delete about 50 bookmarks a day depending on where the trades are at so this is a game stopping issue for me).... and my f11 map wont work at all(even if i try to zoom) --- and the new system of reporting ore quanities is totally screwed as it is reporting the "demand" for a whole systems listed as being the demand at a single station....... and did i mention that i get stuck in systems because it shows a jumpgate that im suppose to go thru that does not exist??? - i have to manualy jump all the way around the bug.... --- anyway im looking to play a different game anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of SWG but all the testers that i know says it blows - anyone help with some info?

Giganike, no one cares you don't care.

I do care a bit about people who leave due to new bugs in each patch. If CCP keeps ot this way, you will have to care too.

People should care about players canceling their subscription. This game will get a whole lot boring with less people. Let us hope we can break 6000 this weekend again. It's been 2 weeks

Molly I thought you left the forums?

The game did break 6000 (check www.eve-i.com)

SWG IS the most overhyped piece of ****E that exists

Bugs didn't affect everyone. I don't know why, but I'm sure CCP is working on it. None of us chaos testers had it while testing it on chaos, and many still don't have it now. So it's a rare isolated incident. They're working on it.

"Molly I thought you left the forums?"

I was thinkg about leaving exactly one forum. This one. Anyway, why asking me this **** everytime?

"SWG IS the most overhyped piece of ****E that exists"

I don't care about SWG.

It's not rare. Hundreds of people have had the bookmark problem, for some of them fixes were out there pretty fast (like in my case). For some not.

You shouldn't use the word rare in the context with bugs IMHO.

1 person writing a "I quit" post provides more useful feedback than 100 people who will say "I don't care". That person doesn't just write that they quit. They usually write why they're quitting. The amount of emotion they put into their post helps to gauge just how big of an issue it was to that person.

If you, as a player that loves this game, don't want that feedback that's fine. It's not meant for you anyways. But if anything, your responses will help solidify the decision to go. Not only for the person writing the message. But for others who are thinking about quitting.

Why, after all, play a game filled with a bunch of inconsiderate sods?

Well said Jash. I believe the people that say "I don't care" or "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" are afraid due to the fact that they invested so much time being a fanboy that they are threatened by anything to the contrary/. Or, maybe it reminds them of the quiter inside themselves and they want to squash it, and hence agressively squash and flame the poster instead.

Just looking at the replies, you can see the anger seething in them. hehe. Maybe they enjoy it in a sick way.

Ah, Fanboys. They are a special lot are they not? What happens when the server population is 4k, then 3k...etc, etc.

Gig, since you are a fanboy you will have no issues with buying their software from them and paying their monthly fees to keep your game afloat..since you don't care if they leave. As a matter of fact, give us your address and when and IF we decide to cancel our subscriptions we'll expect you to take up our accounts.

This is exaggerated but you get where I'm going with this? Less people=less fun and a very dead game. Then you'll be forced to play something you don't like, or you won't play anything at all. Then we'll all have to wait till another company tries something like EVE...maybe 2, 3, or more years down the line.

Uhmm..for bugs that hippey claims RARE. Well..the 3 corps in our alliance got the issue. So first 50ppl there. And for what I seen on the DEV bolg and threads about people having problems with lost research slots too and so on. Then I find it more rare for those that work.

SWG is crap..nothing to say there.
EVE is making itself worse each patch, aswell as the effort to fix things.

the SS bug and stacking skills is something you would emergency patch for. Not wait 3 weeks and see people blast one anotehr away in secs. And use time to whine about m0o. (Thanks Pann for that).
So all the time wasted on m0o. Is rather time wasted in fixing the issues that hold the same ones going. It was so simple to fix those 2 issues, and it would have been a more fair game again.

I ainīt talking about nerfs and normal bugs. But when a company use time on a 30man corp to anoy them and make them quit, instead of fixing bugs that made one player hitting 2-3x harder than the other ****es me off. Then the battle is already lost, since professionalism is replaced by personal issues. Like the wish from Pann to ban all m0o.

Normal place that would end as a written warning or a sacking of the PR manager.

That is why I am leaving aswell. We are now flying around in a world where danger is nonexistant. Unless you wanna mine bistot.
I could punish thieves in the start of the game, now if I try they will stay and laugh.
Everyone is AFK mining with indies. Traders doing robotics run AFK aswell. Why? No danger!

We donīt have any content in EVE. So almost everything gotta be playergenerated. Now without m0o or any danger. Its just a soulless game like SWG.

For those dreaming about huge corp wars. Wakeup. It will never happen. The cost is too huge for both, and there is more than enough astroids for all. Economics also hit the floor. Cruisers are soon to be sold under buildcost like frigates are now. Battleships are turned into minor profit business already. I seen battleships for under 75mio now.

"Tech 2 items will fix it"
No it wont. I seen elite frigates and items in the database. But shipsales is the only market now. And almost every corp. got the BPs they need. Only new players will be customers. And then only for a short while.

Some weeks ago, I sold 30 cruisers a day. Now I sell 0-2 a day, tho the price have gone through the floor. Those that buy battleships donīt buy them for fighting. But they use the 7 turrets for miners and the drone bay for harvesters instead of heavy drones.

There is simply too much loot, too many BPs and too many BP copies to keep the world go around. Pirate loot alone destroyed everything but shipsales. Who want a 250mm railgun I-V, when you can get a cheap carbide/compressed/gauss I-V for only a little more. And if you need a standard 250mm. Your corp. is already swimming in them as loot drops.

EVE is meant to keep itself alive through player content, now itīs only slowly killing itself.

Eve is not that buggy for a MMORPG. Even DAOC which had the most bug free release ever is still having problems with many player battles.

Slowly but surely this game has been getting better and it will get even better. This game is still only half released. As it opens to new markets the universe will get more crowded and corps will clash.

Ive quit playing any other game out there beside soldat. I have never felt the urge to tell everyone about it. THe bookmark bug sounds fairly easy to fix and it probably will be before to long.
