I understand and commend the need for the SCC to cancel leases on "inactive" factory and research slots however I believe they have vastly overstepped their authority. 5 fully active (2 Metallurgy, 3 BP Copies) research slots had their leases cancelled mid research. Additionally the time lost in completing said research has grievously affected our market position on some of our key products. Granted, I would have simply wrote it off as a glitch had the slots not immediately been rented by another corporation and left Black Avatar completely out in the cold in terms of research and development space. Thank you to the CFS members who stepped up and provided us with lab space in their facilities until such a time as we can either reclaim our existing research slots of find a new place to house our research and development wing.
I know that this complaint will fall on deaf ear but I'll make it anyways in the hope that the SCC either sees the error of it's ways and offers recompense to those affected in this manner or at least if the universal cancellations happen again at least the investigators could take the time to properly complete their investigations before picking active labs at random to shut down.
