I keep hearing complaints from people about this patch and I even heard some people complain about lack of content. Have you guys actually played today or just sat around moaning about your lost slots?

So far a ton of new pirate dropped loot has been found. Some of this stuff is level 2 tech. That topped with all the new hanger changes has really made my day.

I have to agree ... most of the patch is really sweet compared to how it was b4. And ppl who whine about losing slots ... hence you only lose em cause you donīt use em (att: poem btw) - so whatīs the point about not paying for unused stuff anymore besides ... oh yah ... da bell rings ... you canīt sell labs for millions of isk anymore huh? ROFLMAO ... yup, I feel very sorry.

Hey it shows they are working. Anything is better than the same ole loot over and over again at this point.

lol do u actually use slots? u lost them wether you used them or not...we managed to retain all ours threw one of our members logging on and noticing they had all became unrented ,then every 2 hours you got billed for the slots which is alot of money when you have people constantly making dozens of items and ships ,people lost days of research time on there prints that were in labs and others even had there prints swalled up by a blackhole

This patch was a heavy handed attempt at emergency balancing. With a few shiny trinkets held out to to distract the easily distracted.

Factory/Lab interface: Nice
The chaos caused by freeing up factory/lab slots: Crappy.

Securing empire space: Nice
Completely removing all risk inside Empire space from other players: Crappy as hell (Roving Connie bships + sentry guns at a gate is a bit of overkill).

Balancing weapon damage: Nice
Balancing weapon damage in a way that makes higher damage ammo almost completely worthless and moves close combat cruiser grade projectile weapons from the "useless" category to the "suicide" category: Deserving of an asswupping

Glad to see the Trinket Maneuver still works. Hopefully they won't proceed to the advanced version: Trinket and a Solid Beating About the Head and Shoulders Maneuver

none of the slots we used regularly were unrented. The only ones unrented were the remote ones that we did not really use anymore. It saved me the trouble of going all the way there to unrent them.

The Agent Missions got a good seeing to, almost double rewards, plus the alledged Black Market abilities (although I've not see this yet).

The Stargate Highways have improved missions as well, making them shorter.

This is how the game should have been released, it has been to bugged until now finaly.
No more insta-kills, I like it... now we finaly get some combat.

the game has more bugs in it now than in beta 6. you obviously dont use factories, fight pirates, use labs, have over 200 blueprints, mine using indies, or own anything worth a crap in the game.

this patch is utterly bug riddled. all they have done is nerf a lot of stuff, and add eye candy to others (such as factory) and then, such as in the case of the factory, just messed it up even more and not really changed the bloody thing.

you try load 200 prints into a factory, takes about 5 minutes, then it doesent even display them in any order, so finding the print you want to use is a joke.

Tristan just a thought... but how about simply have a blueprint/output hangar and keeping minerals with the blueprints u use most or currently using in that hangar. that way u load more like 15-20 at a time per station than 200. this is what i do on a much larger scale and have actually adapted to the situation quite nicely.
