High - 4 med pulses, 1 micro smartbomb
Med - 1 t2AB, Web, disruptor or 2nd web
Low - 1 t2 med repair, 4 t2 Heatsinks's

I sometime use 5 heatsinks down low. This makes a GREAT inty killer. The intys see an Omen and think it's easy kill, so they swoop in. By the time they go from 22km to 10km I often have peeled both the shields and armor right off thier ship. Twisted Evil One web is enough to slow an inty to 600m/s. That's still fast enough to back away. By applying a second web you often catch a brave inty and reduce him to 40m/s. Your lasers will devour him in seconds as your firing rate is about 1.7s per medium laser. Either you kill your target or you warp out with an omen. Rarely have I ever even used the disruptor except on a larger ship. Fit to your targets, carry the other in your hold.

ok first off forget the small Nos. It doesn't do enough to be worthwhile imo. A small/micro Smarbomb will give you limited protection from missle spewers and drones. If someone tries to snuggle up to you to get under your lasers it can also be a nasty suprise. The range is small enought that it's fairly safe to use if you are fighting in empire.

Omens are good in the right situation. I killed a cyclone today with mine. Granted I had 8% hull, but the fact that I could do it at all was impressive.

If you substitute 2 tracking in the place of 2 of the heatsinks, you have my prophecy setup. Works real well in close since I use multifreq crystals to up the damage too.

I was gonna say that but, if your using focused medium pulses2s then you dont need extra tracking, the small nos is also a waste of time and you are far better with a small smartbomb or maybe take that of and try fitting 1 better cruiser sized gun instead of 1 of the focused pulses incase you need a bit of extra umph against another cruiser pilot.

I stand corrected.....I overlooked the nos. I didnt have the PG to sneak it in.

It will be a few more days till i get in the beast, but im already shopping for the bits.

I love the idea of being able to gank BC's, however close to the line, its not bad for a 4 mil cruiser!

Cant wait Very HappyYARRRR!!
