Anyone have any ideas or a general direction you think i should take it .. .
Also if u have any idas for hunting pvpers in small groups of 2 or 3 with this ship...
Also ive heard its amazing ...is it really ?

I own a prophecy and have been doing lvl3 missions in it.... it can solo all of them easily.

I tested my allround tank against a corp m8's apoc (my CEO lol) and it lasted a fair few minutes till the cap gave way and the tank failed.

It is an awesome ship.

It makes a great inty killer if set up correctly.

All small weaps up high (t2 if you can) and a cruise launcher. Damage mods down low with maybe a t2 repper. Dual webbers in the middle with an AB.

You can move, anything in web range slows to 10m/s. T2 guns give good range and tracking and excellent damage. Cruise missle just as a nasty suprise. Twisted Evil

With the natural defence you can take a lot of pounding. With the guns you can destroy anything small than a BS in short order as long as it's in range.

gate ganking setup:
6x med pulse II, rocket launcher & defenders
2x 7.5km scrembler, web or ab
2x 1600mm plate, armor repairer & 3x hardeners

i cannot really fly BC, but with this setup & prophecy's innate resistances you should pretty much screw anything camping empire gates.

And with 2x1600 plates you move like a hauler with damaged engines. Which questions your ab and 7,5 km scrambler. Unless you totaly absolutely camp on top of a gate.

But then you'll much better ganker with blasters. Or hotwisers to takeout small stuff in one volley.

But you also tank like hell, which is kinda... You wont tank sentries right? Then you wont need tanking at all, you should maximaze damage, then shoot and warp out. If you tank against enemy bs, well, due all respect to prophecy one on one you wont win against battle fitted bs with med pulses, and if you are a tackler in a group your speed will make it real hard for you to move around.

Well, it says prophecy, and it wont instaock a ceptor anyway, so i didnt even metion sensor boosters.

Maybe cyclon, with 3 can have decent lock, duno.

But camping gate on a prophecy in 0.0, where every1 has an instas, is a waste of time. I agreeVery Happy

I was farting aroud really for the first time in a prophecy on one of my chars and I've got it setup with 6 whatever I could fit in highs, web\scrambler\ab in mids, and s1 med rep\and rest tracking and damage mods in lows.

I was getting quite a few hits at optimal around 150 to 250 from the tech 1 lasers. Hitting hard and fast like that with decent tracking and great damage from the mods in the lows was an unexpected bonus.

Dispensed a 450k rat (True Sansha something or another) in just 30 seconds or so. The tank on it isn't that hot due to the focus on damage with the setup, but I now see a role for the ship where some other ship might take the focus and tank whilst the prophecy deals damage.

Having a lot of fun with mine .
6x Heavy Modulated Pulse
1x Rocket launcher with defenders

1x MWD
1x Sensor booster
1x Warp Disrupter

3x T2 Heatsinks
1x T2 Small armor repairer (for after the engagement)
Rest of lows are at your discretion . I sometimes fit stabs so i can warp into enemy fleets and attack whatever target decides to come after me or just fit backup arrays or more t2 heat sinks :P

Makes a great ship for fast kills and also great for support in heavy combat as it can deliver a lot of dmg .

Anyway thats how I use it and i have been quite successful with it .

depends: i posted my setup that screws most gate gankers, not to gank.

To have gate ganker, you really don't need 2x 1600mm plate & cap injector would be nice...

bleh..

When I was flying a prophecy my setup was like..

4 Medium Nosferatu, 3 Medium pulse T2
2 Webs, scrambler 20km
1 Medium repair T2, 1 Medium repair T2, 3 Hardeners, 1 cap power relay.

I was Handling scorp fire power with this Tank...

P.S. Some of thoughs items can be wrong, it have been a long time I used a prophecy..
