I have this mission pending and before I jump in blindly with both feet I was wondering what the composition of the enemy forces are. What sort of ships and how close they are to you when you jump in.

Thanks

This mission is ****-easy. You have 3 groups, one battleship with cruisers and frigates, one cruisers and frigates, and one containing the spies and some tacklers. Some of the other frigates might tackle too, but this is a very easy mission in general.

Just don't attack the group with spies right away if you're in a lousy ship, because it'll cause all 3 groups to attack you. An Apoc can tank the whole mess.

You could always jump in a shuttle or your pod to have a look before taking a BS in Smile

I use a vigil with 3 nanofibers and an MWD ;) But to each their own.

Are the spies the same spies as in the level three mission, or are they different harder ones?

FYI, you can shoot the spies right off the bat, kill them and the tacklers with them. Then the mission is done, no need to kill the others at all and they wont even aggro on you. Very handy if you are just after LP. ugh

They're a reasonably close range cruiser.

The only thing to remember here is that the Gurristas do warp scramble, so make sure you tank is good enough to last though each section.

Oh, and you probably already know this, but the NPCs are in distict little groups that only respond when their own members are threatened. As long as you're careful only to aggro one unit at a time, then kill all NPCs that lock you in response, you'll be fine.

IF you make the mistake of ****ing off every group at once, you stand a fairly good chance of dying.

Since this is a deadspace mission you do not need to enter to see what awaits you.

Sit outside the gate and use your scanner.
