I am finally ready to make the Next Big Step in my trading and manufacturing. However, I need a substantial injection of ISK to get my next plans off the ground. The ISK will be used as initial investment in trading and to pay for some materials I cannot easily acquire off-market.

Projected profits are estimated to be beween 5% and 10%.

The start date is as soon as I have enough capital, between 500M and 3B depending on the reaction to this thread. The investment will mature aproximately 28-32 days after start (depending on how much I play), and payouts will be made on the day of maturation. The minimum investment is 500M. If you pull out before the 30 day venture you will recieve only half-interest on your money - however if you pull out before 14 days you will not recieve any interest.

Feel free to ask any questions. I have anticipated some possible queries and decided to pre-empt them:

No collateral?
-No, I don't have any collateral to offer up specifically. However, I have aproximately 1.5B currently held in other enterprises, and an additional 2B in assets. If my venture is not profitable, you will get every ISK you invest back.

Who are your alts?
-Unfortunately, to protect your investments I am unwilling to divulge the name of my hauler-alt. This includes API keys since API keys would grant access to not only the character names, but also the names of other characters on those accounts.

Some limey said this was a scam?
-Yep, it totally is, as evidenced by the fact that I posted on a market alt. Feel free to invest elsewhere.

Further inquiries may be posted here or directed to my Eve-mail.

Mmm first question i had in mind is who's alt are YOU , not what other alts your main has.

Palm - face interaction...

Ok, being nice, and assuming naivety is at play rather than scam. An assumption being stretched to the limit it has to be said.

Who are you, seriously? You have to give something here as this is the first ever post you've made with this char. You have not a single public contract accepted or offered. And I can't find a single entry on kill boards. So with absolutely *no* prior info you are really going to struggle to find people willing to hand over 3 billion isk.

You're not willing to divulge your "hauler alt", what are you willing to divulge?
Are you willing to divulge your skills via (eg) Eveboard that we can see you have skills in manufacturing and trading that you claim?
Are you willing to divulge via the customisable API your wallet history such that we can see you have been trading and manufacturing as you claim?

Yes, this character is an alt. This character was started about 1 year ago and you can confirm this in-client. I have two other characters - an industrialist/hauler and a miner/industrialist. I prefer to keep them anonymous and to operate discretely - they are in NPC Corps and I do not venture much into low-sec and null-sec. I prefer to blend into the crowd where it's safe. If this troubles you, don't invest.

After playing Eve casually for 2 years, I finally feel that I have enough experience and knowledge with my trades to work with investors. My current plan, while ambitious for a start-up, is well researched. It will return profit with as small as 500M investment, although it will only be around a 5% return. That number slides more towards the 10% range when the investment money reaches the 3B mark.

I have stated my goals. If only 1 person invests, and if they only invest the minimum amount of 500M, then I will consider this entire venture a success.

However if you don't want to invest, for whatever reason, then simply don't.

Thank you for your interest.

Trust me enough to hand over isk but don't expect me to trust you enough to give a name. They're in an npc corp ....

As allways a free choice to do so just know that this wil most likely kill the chance of a loan by a HUGE percent. To me it is allways funny , odd and weird to see that someone asks of strangers cash on the forum yet feels he is still in the right to hand over no information what so ever for the investor.

I'd suspect you know something I do not (which is eminently possible). If you do not, and if you were to fill this as described by the OP without any further info then yes, quelle suprise. Your money though :o)

Totally not to each their own assesment of risk tom.You wanna take it then do so.

I like a little risk and rarely have collateralised investments , however this one does not fall in my category Wink

See I'm going to miss this on the new forums. The oops wrong character accidentally exposed one of the alts post. Especially ironic when one previously claims that they won't reveal them because to do so would risk the investment - so presumably this means by your own definition to invest would be more risky now?

And you didn't actually say what your business plan was. Though now you've exposed an alt with at least some contract history we can guess that it might be manufacturing Noctis'. From blueprint copies.

Easy there little guy, I think you should slow down a bit and reread my posts. I said I wouldn't reveal my industrialist/miner and industrialist/hauler alts. I didn't "expose" anything relevant to this thread, except for a 3 week old market watcher.

Yes. I did indeed mention manufacturing in my posts, didn't I? Reading is essential, brosahn.

I've manufactured a few Noctis from BPCs that I found cheap in contracts. Really, someone selling Noctis BPC with good ME and productivity for cheap, how can I pass that up? Especially when I have oodles of minerals sitting around. (There's some of those assets I mentioned in my original post...)

I'm feeling a little bit guilty that on the off-chance (long odds they may be) that you're not a scammer you might be feeling a tad confused and sore.

So I'll try to make this post constructive such that some good might come of this.

The reason people, myself included, are very dismissive of this offering is not necessarily that people think you are a scammer (though they may, and you may be) but that it's impossible to distinguish between your offering and that of a scammer. When you refuse to offer any information that could begin to distinguish yourself from a scammer, when such information is easy and safe to divulge, it further reinforces the opinion that an investment is not safe.

Example: A scammer will not want to divulge any of their alts because (a) they might have links to scams from the past, and (b) to do so would rule "clean" alts out from commiting another scam in the future. So to avoid giving this information out they say "to do so would risk your investment" - just as you did. In reality there are very few occasions where this is the case, there are some for sure, but you have to show a good reason why at the very least. You've already accidentally outed one of your alts - has this brought terror to your operation? I very much doubt it.

Example 2: A scammer will not want to reveal their wallet history via an API check so an auditor or basic fact checker or even prospective investor can see proof that they have been trading / manufacturing as they claim because to do so would either (a) reveal them to be lying or (b) require considerable work in setting up a "false" history of trading and manufacturing to show prospective investors. You have not offered such a check and have walked right by and ignored any questions to do so.

Example 3: A scammer will not want to reveal their skill sheet via an API check or EveBoard.com or whatever so an investor can see that they do indeed have the necessary skills in trading / manufacturing they claim as to do so would require setting time out to train those skills in advance of a scam attempt. Again, you have not offered this easily presentable proof and have ignored questions as to your willingness to do so.

As a result, whether you're a scammer or not, we have nothing to differentiate you from one. It would be so easy to at least make some headway here and begin to show signs that you are at least who you say you are, that you have the skills to do what you say you're doing, and that you have been doing what you say you've been doing.

The second reason I personally wouldn't want to see this offering fill as it stands is that, even if you are genuine and pay back your investors, it shows to scammers out there that no effort is needed to get hold of THREE BILLION isk. All they need do is roll a clean alt, copy/paste, collect 3 billion. If that becomes viable then the boards would be awash with such offerings (and many will say, with some justification, that they already are).

This is a fairly good example of how you're not really thinking through what you're rambling about. Sellestiya is 10 months old (give or take), yet here you are saying "roll a clean alt". Saying things like "roll a clean alt" when the pilot I posted on is 10 months old, and saying I "exposed" myself by posting on a market alt, or that I'm a scam artist because I bought a Noctis blueprint... shows that you're either not paying attention, just saying things for the sake of saying them, or a troll. Which is why it's hard for me to take you seriously and give your post an in-depth response.

Sorry guy.

lol@ "constructive and helpful".

You're just fully of funny statements. Very Happy

But I guess you make a good case. I mean, I wouldn't trust someone who purchased a Noctis blueprint, either. Laughing

Well apparently there are people out there willing to trust people who buy Noctis blueprints.
