I used to be able to use auto-pilot as an auto jump and get several seconds once on the other side to manually warp to 0. Now however auto-pilot is immediate. There is no short gap, I have to cancel auto-pilot, warp to 0 and re-engage auto-pilot in order to get my auto jump.

I know it's fairly trivial, I'm at the computer anyway, but with sound enabled in the background all I had to do was listen for "auto-pilot jumping" and then alt-tab back into the game. One extra click`s worth of automation.

The search bar didn't seem to yield any obvious hits... but then again, I think a better search bar is required.

Its because your in a small ship/pod that can align way faster. Get in a freighter and see if it acts the same way.

That's what I used to be able to do.
Now I have to cancel a-p before I select and hit "s"

yes: ctrl-s (disable) -> select yellow gate -> s -> ctrl-s (enable)

the first "ctrl-s" is the new pain in my wrist!

I'm disabling the autopilot while the jump effect is forming, click warp to 0, enabling autopliot again after "warp drive active".
