In short: yes.

In detail: well kind of. The SP are important to a point but only so I can keep up with my corp mates and always fly the FOTM ships. Beyond that I only continue to play because of my EVE friends.

So it's not the SP investment that's keeping me - it's the investment of RL time, sweat and "blood" that is keeping me here.

It's all about the MILESTONES.

My first million.
My first 100 million.
My first Raven.
My first 1 billion.
My first Freighter.
My first Nightmare...

...not sure where to go next, so just like the OP I keep the SP ticking over.

This game is so frustrating, as I'd like to try so many things but the training times just get longer and longer - meaning more downtime between play. I'd really like to try out a maruaduer, but 35 days for BS lvl5??!! Bring back ghost training please.

Absolutely, my playtime in the last 4 month sums up to about 10 hours.

But guess what, it's not because of Incarna xD.

Although I did finally unsub because of CCPs disregard for us. (which doesn't mean I won't come back if things change)
