Numbers logged in are dwindling (presumably reflecting falling subscription numbers), there is a significantly negative vibe on the forums, and people are still very irritated by the direction CCP is taking...
Maybe you guys ought to replace Greed Is Good, with Fear is Good. You really ought to be afraid for your continued revenue, and then take the opportunity use that fear to drive you to make Eve good again.
Personally, I hope Hilmar is cacking himself constantly. If he's not, we might aswell all go and play something else.

"Oooooo, a vampire mmo! ... Wait, isn't that the same company that wants me to buy $1000 pants from Japan?"
The internet might have a short attention span, but Anonymous says the internet "never forgets" and that it "never forgives."
We'll see how it goes, though. |

Edited by: Living Dead Girl on 04/09/2011 13:13:22 Edited by: Living Dead Girl on 04/09/2011 13:10:58 TBH, the more i dig into this, the more i look away from Hilmar himself and look to the board/ect working behind the scenes. Even the leaked Email doesn't strike me TOOterribly bad when viewed from CCP's angle.
Then again i never claimed to be the brightest crayon in the box, but boy would i love to be a fly in that boardroom.
*edit* altho Eve's current direction doesn't surprise me (incarna) when looking at Hilmar's previous experience. (virtual reality) http://icelandmusic.is/Conferences/IMX/2008---You-are-in-Control/Panelists/Hilmar-Veigar-Petursson/
*edit again* someone turn that link to a clicky for me if your so inclined, i suck @ forums. |

I'm fairly certain the CCP's current direction is being forced on them by either a major investor or someone they owe money to, and they aren't in a position to refuse. However, if that is the case, I still blame Hilmar. Ultimately, it was his decision to develop three products on one products revenue stream, and if that decision has lead to a situation where he can be fiscally blackmailed into running the company to some uneducated ****s tune, that is his fault, and I hold him responsible for the results. |

Your post has merit.
However, I want to play WoD, and will quit EVE the day it comes out.
If a bunch of space geeks pay for it, all the better.

That would be an interesting scenario. If it actually turns out to be the case, I can't help but laugh. |
