Hey everyone.
Before Incarna came, I could run EVE completely fine on a **** laptop, which barely even had a graphics card. Come Incarna, it wouldn't even start because it does not support shader model 3.0. I am addicted to EVE, and I don't want to quit over something like that, so I need to find a solution to the problem. I do have a desktop that will run it perfectly fine, even with 2 characters moving around the CQ at the same time. At the moment, I'm accessing the desktop via teamviewer. The colors are slightly buggy outside station, and FUBARed inside them, but i can live with that. A big problem, though, is that my desktop needs to be on for this to work, which is quite annoying. I just wanted to know if anyone have come up with a way to run EVE on unsupported hardware.

TL:DR: Any way to run EVE on unsupported hardware, like graphics cards not supporting shader model 3.0?

And to the trolls: yes, I could get myself a new laptop, but I can not afford one at the moment, and I don't really need a new laptop for anything other than EVE.

To any CCP employee reading this: a working way to do it from you would be awesome, but I don't expect you to come up with one. A lite client that is supported by shader model 2.0 cards would be even better, though. And I'm sure that there are some other people who would like something like this too, especially those missing ship spinning.
