Under corporate management under wars, right clicking the war includes and option "surrender." What does selecting that option do?

I believe you only get that option if the war was made mutual (but I could be wrong).

The mutual war ends, and one side gets bragging rights. I think the war continues for an additional 24 hours though.

The war is not mutual but the option is listed.

CEO's of both corporations needs to be docked in the same station.

Surrender option will open a trade window between the 2 parties, so an agreement can be made. Usually involving one side giving assets and/or ISK to the other.

When trade is complete, war will end.

Note that there is still a 24 hour delay.
