I have a core i7 2600K at 5GHz and a GeForce GTX 470. Both used to and should still run the game at 60FPS solid.

Yet I frequently drop to 30 and below with severe graphical lag. It's driving me nuts and almost makes the game unplayable at times.

Is this ever going to be fixed? There's no reason for it to drop/lag like it does.

Welcome to the club. I have fps problems also, i lock a target and when the icon shows up my fps drops from 60 to 52, if i lock 2-3-4 targets fps drops to 20, once they are locked its back to 60. And i have that kind of crap for weeks now.
Started just by itself, games that use 5 times more gpu/cpu work flawlessly without any performance hits, and eve that takes 20% cpu acts up so much i hardly even play anymore...lost the will with all the crap.

Please file a bug report is the official stance on these bugs.

However, I can already tell you the reply: Unable to reproduce.

Also, do not ever report this to a GM, they will make you waste hours trying to reinstall drivers, reinstall eve, reinstall windows, reinstall brain before you realize that nothing has changed except you got a new Eve patch....

Graphics? Oh that thing we use python to draw? Yeah, we have our own python graphics engine running on your GPU! Its like cool isn't it?

(this would explain alot, alas I fear the people to blame are the ignorant gpu/DX** programmers at CCP who obviously use GPU based super computers to play the game on).
