B) Being that software defect analysis and automated test design and implementation is my day job at a major operating system vendor (And i'm posting for work while waiting for some code to run, so they know where i work) i'd hope they actually give a better response to a software engineer.
You're not a software engineer, you work in testing! You're one of the guys us real developers hate because you don't create any working code yourself but you're always telling us our code is wrong.
He is basically a new hire no talent hass clown that dances in his managers office waving his SDET CSP wanting a pat on the back to get to level 61 to get that all elusive II added to his job title.
SDET's are no talent SDE's. They try to glorify their code as awesome when in fact all it is is a script, or a model based on Spec Explorer, or some half assed API badly designed and hacked up. Always trying to please his manager to get that next forced promotion.
He works at Microsoft, as do I. I have seen the company churn through butt clowns such as himself. I don't know how he passed the revolving door, he probably does not even sit in triage meetings, if he did he probably would be a pain in the ass.
I thought we stopped hiring know it alls. I guess HR didn't get the memo.
Seriously, butt clowns like him actually make me put preference in more mature applicants not straight out of university.
He thinks he is the bee's knees because he works at MSFT, and now he goes around thinking he is the saviour and we're all doing it wrong.
What does he use? Probably a MITA wrapper around UIAutomation which fails everytime an ant sneezes in Korea.
So he's posting from work waiting on some code to run, is WTT (Windows Testing Technologies) scheduler that bad still?
Or perhaps his code is still in the Setup method calling Sleep's.
He probably opens all bugs in Product Studio as p1s1 lol
