Edited by: Brooks Puuntai on 01/09/2011 18:20:23 Remember when PI was released but you couldn't actually get PI mats yet? Yet it was found on Sisi that you could still refine POS mods and get PI mats. This was reported and even a giant thread was made about it, yet it was still released.
Also when they released the auto grouping to the UI, and you where able to do pretty much unlimited alphas. Again reported on Sisi prior to release.
This is nothing new, it shows that reporting bugs on Sisi is almost completely pointless, and CCPs QA team is useless or are ignoring a lot of the reports. |

You're goddamn right this is a known issue. This has been a known issue since it was on Sisi! Where the hell is your quality control, CCP? |

hehe I think you answered your own question. CCP is pushing to get the bs DUST interface out as fast as possible and they don't care how incompetent they look in the process. |

The reason this bug may have gotten through while being a known issue is that in a lot of software development there are multiple categories of bugs. Some bugs are show stoppers, this includes crashing right after booting up, erasing hard drives, etc. Some bugs can be classified as annoyances such as having to check your fittings and online modules before undocking. While an annoyance if not caught until undocked, it probably was not considered a show stopper.
While it is unfortunate to see any bugs get released, these are typically management decisions about what bugs can get through and what must be fixed prior to a release.

Next to the US government, CCP has got to be the most incompetent organization with which I've ever dealt. Unreal. |

1. Rollback to Pre Incarna. 2. Fire everybody who thought Incarna was a good idea. 3. Win back customers. 4. Profit.

All pilot throughout all history have done preflight checklists. If we roll out and our spaceship craps out, we got no one to blame but ourselves as flames begin to spew from our butts!. Bad fitting, bad overview, no monacle, makeups on sloppy? its all the price you pay for slackin. :)
Working as intended! Don't cower from the slackers CCP! |

Don't forget Eve is a Barbie doll game now so no reason to even be in a ship let alone want to change from one to another. |

Well guys, look at it this way. When this "programing experts" & "QA" guys (heavy sarcasm intended) ever try to get another job, their CV better not say they worked for CCP. Every single reported bug went live, known bugs for months on test server and they ignore it and goes live. The level of incompetence is still climbing with no end in sight. One thing they "implemented", just one screwed up a crapload of stuff. I think this is a new strategy by CCP, they do patches too flawed, that in the soon future we beg them not to fix anything or add more content. Guess that would make them happy as hell. Then they can devote time to Dust and World of Suckers. |

You know, I was a huge supporter of Incarna and I still am. But until they fix all these issues, I actually wouldn't mind if they rolled back to pre-Incarna. I'm sick of the game dropping FPS and other random crap all the time since Incarna. They should roll back, fix all the issues, then redeploy when the entirety of Incarna is ready to go. Plus, give us ship spinning back and a button to leave our ship. If they did this, most people would be happy. |

Switching ships may offline modules if the ship is over CPU budget with an unskilled pilot. The lazy dock workers are being beaten for their failures.
Dock workers? Because all the experienced QA testers have been re-allocated to DUST/WoD? CCP brought in the "too drunk to keep a job" dock workers always seen milling about the harbor, and used them to do super-cheap QA work for Eve? Argh. |

You know that cute, intelligent girl you work with/see at a bar? The one who occasionally shows up with bruises on her arms or makeup covering a black eye? She says her boyfriend gets a little physical when he drinks. But he only does it when she's late with dinner or too loud on the phone. She says it's her fault really, and he's actually a nice guy. She'll never leave him because she loves him. Things are going to get better when he gets job...etc.
We're the girlfriend.

Incompetent CCP is incompetent. Are you really this disconnected with your own player base that you ignore player feedback on SiSi of what was a known issue long before this patch was deployed? |

This is why no one should bother bug testing for CCP. As someone who loves trying out the new stuff (and encountering the bugs they introduce) on Sisi, I've seen this happen over and over. Tester reports huge bug, developers do nothing and release anyway, players encounter huge bug, CCP acts dumbfounded. |

Confirming this was on sisi, was a know issue and ISD Habakuk knows about it because I was talking about it in C-9 local while he was complaining about us shooting abandoned drones at the station. |

Edited by: Strube Eeter on 01/09/2011 22:24:09 As well as the excitement of warping in to a mission with cruise missile launchers and shield boosters offline I seem to have the bonus pleasure of not being able to take any other ships into the site if I come back to a station and try and swap over. The other ships won't warp to the mission location and for some reason I can't open the mission briefing in the journal while out of the station in a different ship. If I redock and change back to the original mission ship then undock again I can both open the journal and warp to the mission. Not good |

Wasn't the mission statement of a corp in Eve to make the game so unenjoyable for people that they quit? Could have sworn the corp name *wasn't* CCP, but I'm starting to wonder.
