Yes i know this was just discussed a few topics apart but i wanted to make a real peel not just rant and rave so

CCP you have never forced anything on us straight away the current space graphics for example were an expansion to the game but for 6 or so months or longer you allowed people to opt out

forcing new features has never been the way you have done things before other than nerf but you cant exactly make that optional unlike WH's, incursions, PVP, Trade, carrier work etc you have never forced it but left it to the player to use it at there own discretion, it seems wired to change that as if you gave people the ability to use both the old and new system and if the new system is truly better why not allow people time to make there own way there.

Unless your alliance with Nvidia has something to do with that decision I could see how that would benefit them making everyone who plays eve buy a new graphics card or use a c***y backdrop with no interactive capabilities...

ah CCP micro transaction, trying to charge non profit third party devs and now getting paid off by nvidia to dump on your player base how we have changed.

Buy ANY card made in the last three years and you won't have the problem.

If you have a AGP slot, you will need to replace your whole computer.

This MASSIVE INVESTMENT could cost you UPWARDS of $40 off newegg.com

Also it will make the game look prettier and smoother, and any other games you play.

Seriously.

Or, be smart and turn CQ off. Because it's useless anyway.

MW2 - 60fps
FEAR3 - 60fps
Crysis2 - 60fps
Deus ex - 60fps
Sparsely decorated room with no moving/destructable objects and a poorly rendered avatar - 35-40fps

But no, you're totally right, we should buy new cards...
