... NOT! But this must be what this guy thought of himself Laughing

So one of our members is attacked by two Tengus while seemingly ratting alone in a Drake in our wormhole with no one else visible. It's not his lucky day though, because what he doesn't know is that a HIC is cloaked at a wormhole ready to warp and our ratting fleet + pvp support is next door in another wormhole ratting and harassing the inhabitants in the process.

So I warp in my Devoter and catch the Tengus even as they pop our Drake. Fleet follows and we get them both including pods. The panicky and delayed way he acted it was clear that this was only one guy, dualboxing. How stupid is it to pvp-solo-dualbox with two Tengus in other people's home systems? Quite stupid. But now look at the fittings:

I'm happy for him that he obviously used anonymous pvp alts for this. I suggest buying some new ones though, these are quite burned.

I looked at the KM's and they are quite juicy kills indeed. At least 3 bil isk went up in smoke with those 2 kills (more, as I think the KM was a tad bit conservative on some of the module prices - check down the list to see).

Meh, blob or no blob, this was an expensive killing field.

Yup. The reason I think this is entertaining is not what we did, anyway. It's what he did, flying two insanely expensive ships in circumstances where it is only a matter of time until that what happened happens.

He didn't really make a tactical mistake until we already had him at his balls. He successfully attacked a lone ratter in an apparently empty system. The probability that an invisible fleet is waiting close, ready to strike, is rather small, so it would be worth the risk... with appropriately priced ships. A force recon or even SB and a t1 BC for the damage would have gotten the Drake just as well, while two 2-billion-Tengus still have no chance against any fleet of 10 guys.

Nice blob, sir. Must've required a tactical mastermind to execute that gank.

I would have never of expected that 10 ships could kill 2. Here I thought EVE was a game were solo or even dual boxers could single handily take down entire fleets.

I must look into this numbers superiority thing.. it's seems so trendy.

Yes, of course he should have told the other members of his corp they could not participate, because it would be dishonourable to bring 10 to fight two that have already snuck in and shot one of your own. After all, having more friends that are willing to fight is just wrong, amirite?

Dear readers, look at the comment above. Now, look who said it. Now look back at the comment. Not very surprising, eh?

Ten is not a blob.
Fifty drones from the 10 people isnt a blob either...

10 titans
30 supers
19 carriers
120 bs
120 mixed bc down support is a effin blob...The term blob is way overused.

To be honest looking at that fleet comp two tengus fit for engaging larger forces (and not just ganking solo ships in wh's) would have probably been able to kill several ships and disengage or even kill them all without too much trouble. Two ships designed for the oh-so-honorable pursuit of ganking solo ships ran into a force they weren't fit to counter - that's EVE.

I see you are bad at posting. Don't worry just check the Goonwiki and I'm sure there will be a guide to it.

Nice KM post info but I hope that was not your home wormhole system.

I been down enough holes (yeah it sounds bad) to see a lot of security breaches. It's a wonder wormhole-dwellers are not being hunted like sheep. You should always keep the hole classified, and everything in it. I could go on for hours.

Lol, thank you. I'm quite amazed anyone would not see the truth of this. The only explanation is that they have never done pvp.

We have plenty of regular visitors, sometimes leaving scan alts, a few more won't matter. Anyone can find out our home system by just looking at "most violent system" on any killboard. If Talocan United wanted to invade us they could have done so in June when they visited us and killed an Indy Wink

Talocan United vs Gnade? I found Gnade's home system two weeks ago. They'd forgotten to fuel two of their POS. I farmed a couple of them, then they finally formed their blob up and fought my two ships. But all they managed to do was get one of their Falcons blown up.

My money would be on Talocan, easily. Razz

Lol, you Very Happy I wasn't there, but I read a report about that day. Admittedly we screwed up, losing the point on you, but we have better days than that one Cool

The POS wasn't forgotten, its owner was just too lazy to dismantle it, and the modules you destroyed were of little value. If someone enjoys shooting at worthless empty structures, he's welcome to it.

Yeah, it was just some silos at the POS I think. It was a fun fight though, and yes, I was rather relieved that the points on the Rattler dropped. It was a bit silly of me to go charging in when I knew how many of you were online, but sometimes you get away with it.

Yeah...

Really don't think this was worth the post.
Good job on the kill. If you have teammates, use them!
Bunch of GD tards up in here. They mad cause they only have 2 people that can help them.
How unfair. They can't kill those tengus like you, and they just lose the drake with no juicy kill revenging.
