I got bored doing my usual stuff, and decided to run some courier contracts today. It doesnt seem very profitable, but its kind of fun getting a look at what other traders are buying, selling, and moving. Not sure if I'm going to keep doing it but its somewhat entertaining for now! Very Happy

Actually I'd be interested in knowing what people do to maximize their isk hauling. I would guess with a big enough hauler (especially a freighter) you could do well finding multiple contracts that are all going to and from the same location, or at least on the way. Then haul it all at once.

1) Do not do public courier contracts.
2) ???
3) Profit.

Seriously. Mining in highsec probably gives more ISK/hour than public couriers. You either have a private client (e.g. hauling for an industrial corp), are an employee of a hauling service (e.g. Red Frog), or profit from arbitrage on high-volume goods (buy low at A, sell high at B). If you happen to see a public contract which is on your route anyway, you take it for the extra penny.

What they mostly do is take on a bunch of contracts and check the collateral vs the content, occasionally the content will be worth much more since people are often inept at setting collateral.
