Are the 1.1 patch notes a joke? When are you going to fix the bugs / annoyances you introduced in Incarna 1.0?

The warp tunnel still doesn't consistently appear.
Players still have to recustomize their entire appearance / portrait when jump cloning.
Separate hotkeys for click+hotkey vs hotkey+click.
Drone behavior is ****ed. They still change targets on a whim.

Dude, they are working so hard on next itterations of Incarna, there is no TIME to fix the bugs. Live with them or unsub. Cool

Bugs should be fixed prior to new features, imo.

Although I agree, that would probably mean that there would be no content for a long, long time. Rolling Eyes

That is one constant that seems to run among most, if not all, MMO's. Yet it seems to be the one thing that the game companies ignore.

Unfortunately CCP has research that indicates that new features sell more subscriptions than bug fixes.

These issues are not bugs, these are features!

I suppose you missed all the other "features" since Castor and prior.

Two options:

1) Accept things you have no control over.
2) Quit.

Tbh, these patch notes are such a dissapointment that I'm considering dropping another account. As CCP will look more to what we do then what we say. It expires in 6 days and I hardly use it to begin with.

I can just see it ten years from now:

Gamer A "Hey guys, you remember that EVE game? Whatever happened to it?"
Gamer B "The hardcore gamer crowd was scared off by pink lacy panties."
Gamer A "LOLWUT?"
Gamer B "No, seriously, the developers released vanity clothing that had no apparent benefits in game, and everyone quit."
Gamer A "Why?"
Gamer B "Who the frak knows, I don't think even they knew. A soapbox is a soapbox."
Gamer A "Death by panties best death?"

Twenty years from now is calling you, with a lot of hindsight and hopefully a bit of hard earned life lessons.

1. The bug was introduced with one of the last Incursion patches, before the Incarna release.
2. It has something to do with NEX-clothing travelling not with you when you jump clone.
3. Don't care
4. This bug is almost like an old friend since it has been in EVE at least since I joined the game after the Cold War release.

Whiny whiners will whine.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe they don't have a fix for those issues so they are rolling out what they do have fixes for? I know...it's really hard to think about things before the whine bug kicks in.

Oh for reason's sake people. Look at the patch notes, if you don't know something consult google. They did a nice job with this patch. You can't expect them to fix everything in two month. It's just not realistic. This patch does fix (in theory) lag that people were complaining for ages here. It fixes more things. Just read the patch notes. Yes it does not fix everything or most of things. But it's just the first patch and it goes right direction we all asked for.
I whined a lot on forums about things I don't like (MT shop I still don't like and won't like unless items destructible and sold on regular markets and produced by players) but this patch goes right way and I have a decency to admit it and say thank you to developers for it.

Give them a break, let them work on it and may be even give them some credit for actually doing it.

The difference is I don't give a flying monkey's blowhole what you think because in twenty years neither of us will remember this conversation or at the very least I will not, because that is how much any of this matters.

The patch notes never contain all the information, nor does CCP have to sit here and justify to us what they could and could not do in the time frame before they released the patch. If you want an angry mindless cacophony of a mob to run the game inside and out from the exact flavor, temperature, and volume of his first cup of coffee when a CCP employee walks in the door to the duration and frequency of the last fart he squeezes out on the walk to his car in the lot, feel free, but I for one know better.
