Most of the time I just use one copy of Eve and launch it multiple times. This avoids the need to keeping track of which instance of Eve has the settings for which characters.
However, if you want to have seperate settings for difference accounts/characters, you can avoid filling up your hard drive and patching multiple times by using Junction
to create another path to the Eve folder. It works the same as copying the folder but it does not use additional disk space and changes made to those files (ie patches) are made to all instances.
