Hello,

Because I still haven't found a clear answer about this, I'm posting this question here:

What happens if I put a ship with something in it's cargohold in a ship maintenance bay of a carrier, like modules, ammo, drones, ...?

Some say that it wil cause a bug, some say that it won't load it into the carrier, some say it will work...

So what is it?

Thanks!

ammo, cap booster, drones and i believe drugs and scripts can be in the ships cargo bay, everything else will come back with an error

No drugs can't go there, and neither can fuel/minerals.
The only things you can have in there are charges of different types, aka anything that can be fitted inside a module. Nanite paste breaks the rule a little bit since it's not really a charge and can still go in the cargo though.

Way back a few years ago, there were no limitations, but that ended up with people loading up carriers with a few industrials in the SMA to carry stuff and fitting the lows with cargo expanders, which gave them quite a lot of regular cargo too, they used to have a few k m3 space standard before fuel bays were introduced.
