Hi there.

I have always had a fancy for space and astronomy and all the oddities and curiosities that come along with it. However, since I started playing EVE, I have noticed that any space-related real-world story has received greater attention from me. I read these articles and think of EVE and how wonderful it would be if EVE could keep pace with these discoveries. For example, here are some news articles and discoveries:

New Planet Discovered, Most Likely Made of Diamonds
Black Hole Caught Eating a Star
Humans Warmer Than This Y-Dwarf Star

I mean, how cool would it be if as these are found in real-life than EVE got an update regarding them?

A couple more examples. These are necessarily new, however, they are space related activities that EVE does not really have:

Cosmic Dust Orgins
Massive Solar Flare

You know how Incursions hit a few solar systems for a while and move on.... why can't EVE incorporate a similar feature, but only with Cosmic Dust and Solar Flares?

And why aren't there comets?

Comet Article

Maybe comets could be very rare, but provide some sort of amazing harvesting potential? Or other things, I dunno, this is an open forum for all to discuss.

What else am I missing guys? I'm very interested in how these things could be incorporated to gameplay.

My apologies if a similar thread is already in the works :/
