well now... how is it possible for a scammer to secure his escrow??
for example:
1 buy order for *anything* at 400mill
i set the same item on sale for 94mill (less than 23.73046875%)
how did he order fail??
is there a way for the scammer to secure his escrow? or did i fail somewhere? ugh

Are you selling in the same station, and are you selling the minimum required amount?

Think it's been like this for a while... If it is possible for your order to fill his then it will, but if his order is a scam and he infact has no money, it won't take your order, but his order remains untouched since you never actually tried to fill it manually.

It's almost like the market system does a silent "any matches?" query before placing your order, and since his order wouldn't go through if you tried to fill it, the "any matches?" thing returns no results, placing your order and leaving his.

I imagine it's a bug, but meh, don't hold your breath on getting it fixed...

Yeah too bad there is a way for a scammer to secure his escrow.

They place a buy order for two items. In your example that will be somewhat like 188 mil escrow.
Then he sells one item to himself for 188 mil.

Escrow now is empty. No way to scam the scammer :-(
