- I remember reading something about this once before but my memory is a little fuzzy. A hostile corporation has members that:

1) Leave the corporation for short periods (usually only a few hours) to avoid hostilities.
2) Join the hostile corporation briefly to participate in an attack and then immediately resign again.
3) One target left the corporation for 4 minutes, just long enough to get through a hostile gatecamp.

Is this legal - or does it constitute a violation of CCPs rules? I seem to remember reading that this sort of behavior was an exploit, but I would ask for some clarification.

Leaving and joining corps is permitted with one main exception: you may not join a corp at war, if you are in space, in a system with war enemies of that corp. You must first dock or go to a system without any war targets before you may join that corp.

As far as I know, which could be completely wrong:

Corps cannot alliance hop.

Players can corp hop.

Both look horrible in the history though.
