Looking to fly a guardian or scimitar depending upon what fleet friends are in(can vary).

Is there a way to move 2 rigged ships easily through empire? or is an orca my only option?

Can frieghter take rigged ships? would it be faster just to fly them individually than frieghter?

A frighter can not transport rigged ships. But you can issue a courier contract. The rigged ships will then be wrapped up and you can put them into a frighter.

Other than that, yes an Orca maintanence bay is the only option.

Transfer the ships to an alt. Have the alt setup a courier contract to move them. You can then move both in the freighter, where as you cannot just put rigged ships in the cargo.

As for whether this is quicker? It depends on the number of jumps you do.

The very quickest way would be to have an alt fly the other ship, of course. You wouldn't need it to have any skills other than what is needed to sit in the hull just to move it.

use Red Frog Freight or similar service.. Make contract with ships.. from point a to b. next day or so. they appear

Or just fly em there it's not that hard

^ This is what I do. I fly my Tengu, my alt flies an orca containing Guardian/Basilisk/Gila. I fly Incursions as logistics, then on the slow-brain days my alt and I fly missions (Tengu + Gila).

The Orca can carry all the requirements for a portable Incursion industrial hub: BPCs for ammo, a selection of useful modules (esp Large S95a or 'Solace'), and the all-important Lyavite which we mined the slow way from the previous incursion :)
