Hello,

as it seems, my idea is new and nobody talked about it before. At least I cant find any thread about it.

I think CCP should introduce some kind of damage dealing to other ships if a player decides to pay an amount of Aurum to CCP. The target ship is then destroyed instantly.
You know, there are many new players to eve, who dont have decent skills to combat other older capsuleers. This might by unfair in many peoples opinion.
You probably already been in the situation of other player overpowering you in fight when you loose your ship to that player. By paying... say, 200 AUR you can destroy a battleship class ship, for 100 AUR cruiser and less. Dont know if it should be possible to destroy capital ships and heavier by this method.

Another problem are people instantly cloaking in your system and sitting there for days doing nothing. They should be destroyable in that manner too, by rightclicking them in the local menu and selecting "destroy for AUR".

In empire you should be punished by lowered security status if done so to other players as if you have shot that ship by usual waepons, in order to keep the empire safe to some degree.

NPC ships should not be killable via this feature in order to not making this function imbalanced, peole too easy to do pve.

What you guys think about this idea? I think its the first legit use for aurum, nobody wants boots or lenses from those NeX shops, they are useless.

this aint be troll or something, I think as older eve gets, as more urgent a method is given to players to compete with older players in order to keep them at the same eye height.

I think the price of 100 or 200 AUR is too low, people would misuse this feature to kill other people too easy.
I think shoot prices from 1000 to 2000 AUR would be more viable.

in oder to make it fit into the RP scenery, the destroyed ship should receive a message like "your ship has been destroyed in a sudden gravity turbulence, caused by <playername> warp drive."

ok, troll or not, my girlfriend can't stand to see this guy suffer anymore.
So I'll put him out of his misery.
*cough*
The reason everyone thinks your idea is laughable at best is that they know that as soon as you implement a system like this there would be people abusing it. It would unbalance the system. There is no skill or planning involved. No repercussions, penalties, or risk, just somebody with money destroying another somebody without. Confused
Eve Online's biggest asset is that they let the players decide what happens in the game world and interferes when the game becomes the disruption to the players. If not for that, CCP would just be another SoE or (and this is from word of mouth I have heard recently) WoW, where the biggest whiner is the biggest winner.

Fixed that for you, otherwise your correct explanation could be ignored since the rest of your post would most likely be regarded as lies once people hit the first lie.

I wanna use aur to buy a ball gage from the nex store. Its a 1 time item that has a one time use to "Gage" another player. Once applied, that account cannot post on the forums, or in local in Eve for one month. Rolling Eyes

lets leave the gold ammo in wot....

mainly because thats the one thing that kills that game imo. MOnths of grind, roll out the t9 and booooooom. Personally ahven't had the motivation to go back to see if my e50 is gold proof (hell I'd take not one shot kill, be a massive step up). Way too many roll outs in the panther II and instant death. Call me silly, I spend months to learn a ride...like it lasting a bit. Even in eve...I have lived to warp out of a primary strike in a bs.

Eve has that with titans granted, lets leave it with them. Unless bored or no caps on the field....the titans save up thier uber weapon for better targets.

please dont derail this topic to wot or other offtopcis.

Gage is a good idea but misses my intentions of getting away of overwhelming player with disruptor.

oh yes - would be epic sitting in a cloaky with the credit card paying for the enemy ships exploding without even bothering to fight Rolling Eyes

I love people trying to "pay the game" instead of "play the game" hehe

it should maybe get a balancing tool for preventing abuse of that mechanic. Maybe limited numbers of ships destructed in that method?

i would love this function for NPC as well, yesterday I was raping some rats in belts as I figured out there was a single neutral in my system. As I dropped a combat probe to see if there is someone nearby, nothing was shown, in the same time I was disrupted by a NPC frigate and another ship jammed me, so there was no chance of get away from the belt. Ferox is a slow ship regarding its turning speed. 1 min or something later a window appeared and jammed me on top of that. I could not tank the rats and the guy at once, he was a 6 years old character so there were not a single chance for me to survive his attack, probably even if I got rid of the ECM from rats. I died without any chance of locking them back.

Wait wait, would this generate kill mails?

If so, that would be epic. Imagine the killmails showing the final blow delivered by a cloaked hulk.

Gives hulkageddon a whole new meaning.
